SUMMARY OF ROLE

As an Environment, Health, Safety Engineer, you will be the leading the operations for EHS for our Singapore sites for safety matters, EHS trainings and reviewing any procedures. You will also be the advisor for EHS related legislation and requirements.

• Technical transfer product/project in assembly and testing, and from customers
• Provide technical support in manufacturing and testing in product build
• Provide technical support to Quality Control (QC) in return merchandise authorization (RMA) issue
• Provide technical support to Quality Assurance (QA) in Compliance, Regulatory,Customer & Audit

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Electronics Engineering
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Electronics Manufacturing industry
• Technical competent to handle product/project manufacturing, transfers andtroubleshooting
• Experience in product/project, printed circuit board assembly PCBA manufacturing andtesting
• Able to liaise with customer on technical matters
• Experience in manufacturing environment with ISO13485 (an international standard thatoutlines the requirements for a Quality Management System in the medical deviceindustry) & FDA (Food and Drug Administration) preferred
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Medical product experience and Quality Management System exposure preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing multi layered PCB to meet industrial standard and assigned timeline.
• Majority of the circuit will require manual routing, related to high voltage and high current application.
• Develop CAD library including footprint generation as per standard and database administration.
• Creation of 3D models and assemblies from 2D layouts.
• Creation and maintenance of data packs.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Electronic & Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experiences in PCB layout design.
• Experience in PADS VX, CAM350 and AUTOCAD tools.
• Experience in power supply layout design with safety design will be an advantage.
• Experience in liaising with factory to solve Design for manufacturing issue.

Responsibilities:

• Working with Process Engineer & Engineering team on QC (Quality Control) requirement
• Documenting inspection criteria and quality plan
• Work with QA (Quality Assurance), Process and Product team on corrective action withquality issue
• Work with Process team on in-process audit and FQC (Final Quality Control) audit

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Manufacturing / Quality Engineering
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience in Electronics Product Manufacturingenvironment
• Control of Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA)
• Quality control of in-coming, in-process and out-going products
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 (quality management system), 14001 (environmentalmanagement systems), 13485 (requirements for a Quality Management System in the medical device industry) & 45001 (occupational health and safety), FDA (Food and Drug Administration) requirement
• Able to understand IPC requirement in PCB (printed circuit board) Assembly, quality requirement of plastic molding, die casting, extrusion, metal stamping and machining parts
• Able to converse with the China suppliers
