Job Description

To support Finance Lead in the payment workstream, to review and approve payment transactions for the College of Design & Engineering and providing advisory support and ensuring compliance with University’s Financial Policies and Procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Counter-check invoices and Request for Payments (RFP)
• Approve the invoices and RFPs in the system
• Provide advisory on payment policies and procedures
• Other administrative tasks assigned

Job description:

• Prepare monthly financial statements/costing and management performance reports.
• Prepare cash projections and handle cash management.
• Establish standard costing and determine actual costs of production and service.
• Analyze financial data and monitor expenditure.
• Oversee the daily operations such as invoicing, credit management, suppliers' payment, payroll, inventory and other transactions.
• Maintain adequate system of accounting and related operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant legislation
• Keep track of financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, bankers and other financial needs.

Job Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the full set of accounting functions and activities for several companies of the Group, including performing monthly closing reports, bank reconciliations, and schedules.

· Perform AP functions such as ensuring all invoices/staff claims were duly approved by respective department heads, supported with Purchase Orders/Delivery Orders/Service Orders, and any other required documents.

· Responsible for processing payments, preparing payment vouchers and related supporting documents, GL coding, and posting all related payable entries, while also maintaining files for paid and unpaid invoices.

· Handle intercompany billings to ensure accuracy and timeliness in invoicing between subsidiaries.

· Maintain files for paid and unpaid suppliers’ invoices

· Handle intercompany billings

· Assist in handle audit, tax and secretary

· Assist in other ad-hoc duties as and when assign

Job Requirements:

1. Min Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.

2. At least 2 years or relevant working experience

Here's what your week might look like

• You'll probably start your week by checking in with the teams and projects you are leading independently or in conjunction with key project team members.
• You will need to balance high aesthetic standards with not losing sight of the big picture.
• Speaking of the big picture, we need your help on UX strategy and maturity. You'll conduct discovery activities to define high level user stories; identifying key features and capabilities needed with our stakeholders.
• Able to produce user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and design specs independently or with key project members to communicate detailed designs and solutions to guide development sprints
• Conduct and communicate research findings, design rationale effectively with data with product analytics data or user testing with end users
• Exploring and creating new patterns for our Design Language System will be an important part of your work. Juggling hands-on work with mentoring can be hard. • You have 10+ years of experience in design. A bonus if you have managed a team for 4+ years (preferably in medium or large organisations).

This role sits within the Institutional Banking Group design team, and is based in Singapore. The team is tasked to deliver best in class customer experience in the digital product journeys for retail and wealth customer segments. You will report to the Head of Design, Institutional Banking Group.

Accounts

• Maintain full set of accounts
• Perform daily bookkeeping activities such as sales, purchases, receivables, payables
• Ensure proper accounting records are maintained and procedures are adhered to
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST filing and other tax compliances
• Prepare month-end, financial year-end closing, monthly balance sheet, P&L, bank reconciliations
• Prepare and submit monthly CPF submissions
• Manage timely closing process and reconciliations

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Accountancy or any other relevant qualification
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Independent, meticulous, and able to communicate effectively
• Proficient in MYOB, ABSS or other similar accounting software
• Prior experience in EduTrust PEIs and/or SSG Registered Training Providers will be a bonus

As our Executive/Senior Executive - Finance , you will be managing the full set of accounts as well as compliance requirements.

● You will be in charge of the GL accounting and Balance Sheet Reconciliations

● You will liaise with the auditors, manage and drive the internal and Statutory Audit to closure, including the Tax Audits and other ac-hot audit assignments

● You will interact and resolve all the audit queries as and when they may arise though General ledger (including AP/AR review)

● You will oversee the processing and payment of vendor invoices and employee claims

● You will partner the internal sourcing and procurement team to resolve vendor related issues

● Manage vendor relationship and communicating to vendor on status of payments

● You will be in charge of the month end closure, complete Fixed Assets, Currency Revaluation, Prepayments and Accruals, as well as Revenue/Cost Accrual based on Percentage of Completion within the timeline of the closing

● You will prepare the balance sheet reconciliation schedules for management review

● You will handle the inter-Company Invoicing and Reconciliation, on a monthly basis

● You will be liaise with the tax agent, in charge of Annual Corporate Tax filing, GST filing

REQUIREMENTS

What we expect

● You held minimum Accounting Diploma with at least 3 years experience in accounting processes and have excellent knowledge in MS Excel
