• Notify the company’s operational team of unusual accounting fluctuations
• Monitor/Review the company’s account reconciliations
• Monitor the company’s annual audit process
• Handle company matters related to Goods and Services Tax (GST) and taxation
• Evaluate and submit the necessary GST returns on a quarterly basis
• Establish/review internal controls in the Finance team, implementing new controls if required
• All other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Accountancy or other equivalent qualifications/certifications
• Minimum 5 years of relevant MNC working experience, with regional exposure
• Prior Taxation and Treasury experience is highly prefered

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining accurate costing processes for production and materials.
• Responsible for standard costs for raw materials, packaging, machinery and finished goods and update variance analyses.
• Analyse manufacturing costs, overheads, purchase price and COGS variances.
• Manage cost-related budgets and perform variance analyses.
• Generate periodic reports for management, analyzing factors affecting product prices and profitability.
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting or ACCA or relevant accounting qualification.
• CPA/CMA would be advantageous.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Power Point and ERP systems.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing and Costing.
• Responsible and good communication skill.
• Detailed and meticulous.
• Candidates without Costing experience need not apply.

• Design and maintain financial models and templates to support planning, forecasting and budgeting for geographies in AP. 
• Consolidate submissions from Geographies and Function Finance Business partners FBP for Business reviews, Forecast, Budget. Collaborate with FBPs and Corporate Finance to ensure deliverables are completed in a timely manner
• Review forecast and budget submissions and perform independent challenge to improve accuracy of forecasts. Analyze trends and ability to provide point of view to Finance management if required
• Provide support to improve efficiency and effectiveness of forecasting processes and management through partnering with relevant stakeholders
• Perform adhoc analysis for management. Proactively identify and communicate business implications of analysis and ability to simplify and present complex issues to stakeholders

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
