Responsibilities

Non Financial Risks:

• Lead the development and maintenance of non-financial risk policies and tools (e.g. operational risk policies, MAS outsourcing guidelines, Risk Appetite Statements and Key Risk Indicators)

Financial Risks:

• Lead the development and maintenance of financial risk policies and tools (e.g. credit risk policy, merchant acquiring risk policy, credit scorecards and other analytical tools)

Investor Relations support:

• Provide external stakeholders with a view of the material risks and key risk mitigants employed for securing capital for the company.

Advisory:

• Provide advice and guidance to senior management and board on enterprise-wide risk related matters

Requirements:

• 8 to 10 years of experience in a financial institution.
• Good understanding of analytical methodologies and practices.
• Experience with financial (e.g. credit risk, merchant acquiring risk) and non-financial risk (e.g. operational risk, MAS outsourcing guidelines) policy development
• Prior team lead experience preferred but not a must to have.
• Strong problem-solving skills: Able to break down problems exhaustively and comprehensively in a structured manner and use data to drive decisions

Responsibilities

• Drive heightened standards on collection strategy and risk segmentation to improve collection management efficiencies and effectiveness, leveraging data analytics
• Establish a framework for productivity metrics, benchmarking and performance monitoring
• Drive enhancement of collection system, dashboard and process to gain efficiency and effectiveness in delinquency and NPL management
• Establish and execute restructuring program, working closely with Credit Approvers
• Understand drivers for delinquency and loss rates, recommending collection strategy changes proactively
• Establish collection playbook to support consistent implementation of policies/processes to other markets
• Perform front end or backend collection and recovery for non-performing loan, working with law firms and real estate agencies
• Coach and supervise junior collectors

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of Collection Management experience covering Unsecured And Secured Portfolio in the banking or financial industry
• Preferably possess the following complementary work experience in:
• SME Credit
• Restructuring
• Credit loss recognition and forecasting
• Degree holder, preferably in risk management discipline
• Good inter-personal, communication & writing skills
• Meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Motivated and collaborative team player with ability to consider the broader picture
• Proficient in computer applications (MS Office and preferably SQL or data analytics tools)
• Credit Risk/Collection Experience: 10-15 Years

Your Mission: As our Lead Finance Analyst is based in Singapore reporting to the Director, Corporate FP&A, your role will be pivotal your role will be essential in the company’s annual operating plan, financial quarterly forecast and cost roadmap review, actual reporting vs. plan variance analysis and projects. Also, will be involved in the consolidation of the Corporate financial, key performance index (KPIs) and perform as a stage gate to ensure all the Division’s operating expenditure is incurred according to the allocated budget.

Make Your Mark: How You Will Drive Change:

• Analyze and report actual results, prepare budgets and forecasts, and coordinate the consolidation of the strategic planning process.
• Develop financial models to support strategic and growth initiatives, influence business decisions through scenario planning, and partner with business leaders for ad hoc analyses.
• Present financial results and reporting packages to the executives and senior finance management, while operating within a matrixed organization.
• Drive improvements in profitability and cash flow and collaborate closely with assigned business / stakeholders for a seamless budgeting process.
• Identify gaps and create resolution options, recommending best-in-class practices for effective budgeting process improvements.
• Provide FP&A support for annual budgeting and BOQ process, consolidation of Opex Report, headcount movements and report maintenance, and spending variance analysis.
• Engage in cost reduction programs/ initiatives.

My client is manufacturing firm with strong global presence and they are seeking for a Finance Business Partner to lead a team to support the business units in a dymanic environment. This role will be working closely with the business and ability to influence and collaborate across functions.

This role involves ensuring accurate month-end closings, preparing financial performance reports, and driving improvements in gross margin and cost management. Key responsibilities include managing annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and enhancing financial processes for operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in finance business partnering and FP&A, leading a team with a strong background in cost accounting/ financial analysis/ financial modelling, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
