Job Description:
Primary Role: Responsible for techno-engineering work during the project cycle, from evaluation, implementation through to operations / maintenance, including:
- Pre-investment technical due diligence, such as review of engineering and process design, comparing capex/opex estimates to industry benchmarks, technical capabilities of EPC contractors, etc
- Supervision during implementation, such as:
- Verify whether project-related EPC and investment agreements are being met.
- Physical status of the work implemented on site.
- Judge and report the quantum of finance contributed and used for the project.
- Estimated expenditure for the project over observed progress.
- Review and comment of Statutory Approvals and Clearances.
- To check whether physical progress is in line with project implementation schedule and planned project timelines.
- Review the drawdown schedule for the planned project activity.
- Oversee operations and maintenance of project investments, to ensure O&M contractors are performing their roles, and projects are being managed in line with budgets and contracts
Secondary Role: Support Business Development / Commercial / Investment work, i.e. identify and contact potential environmental projects which Tigris can invest in, including in India, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, and over time, to work with local partner companies on project development and business strategy.
Skills
Candidates should have the following:
- 5 to 10+ years of relevant work experience gained (e.g. in a Water, Engineering/Construction, or Consulting Company)
- Proven ability for critical / logical thinking and problem solving
- Strong co-ordinator & team player
- Self-motivated, well-organized and can-do attitude
- Strong communication skills. Ability to work very independently in a small team
- Evidence of high performance standards in previous position(s)
On job training to be provided
