The Credit and Collections Manager assists finance leadership by directing and leading the Credit and Collection teams to improve DSO and cash flow management, working closely with operation teams on collections, generating collection and other management reports, and providing analysis and action plans on long aged AR balance, working with clients directly where necessary for collection. Help management with the collection terms decision based on credit rating and analysis.

What You Will Do:

• Responsible for credit control and collections performance.
• Submit collection and management reports focusing on AR improvement.

• Set up a credit control process and implement it with operations.
• Liaise and coordinate input from operations to improve the collection process.

Education and Experience

Reporting Relationships

The incumbent reports directly to a Director or Vice President level and may have individual contributor reports.

Responsibility:

• Manage full-spectrum of financial and accounting functions (AR, AP, GL and other balance sheet items)
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end & year close activities and analysis, consolidation and tax & statutory reporting and the financial information are in compliance with SFRS / IFRS
• Overseeing the subsidiaries finance functions both locally & overseas
• Prepare periodic management reports and analysis reports, including budgeting and forecasting
• Work closely with the Business Operations team to ensure timely billing & recording of revenue transaction
• Provide oversight and guidance on AR collection, including informing Finance and Business Operation team
• Support treasury management for the APAC region, including initiation of wire transfer and monitoring cashflow
• Manage fixed assets to ensure proper control and custody, physical and reporting of assets
• Support internal / external financial audits, including reconciliation with supported documentation, compilation of the Unaudited Financial Report in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards
• Handle IRAS tax submission requirements, including GST and withholding tax
• Responsible for ensuring adequate internal controls over the company's accounting and financial procedures
• Support Financial Controller in process improvement project and internal controls implementation
• Handle any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by management

Requirement:

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, ACCA qualification, or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience, preferably with 2-3 years exposure in a start-up environment
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting standards
• Experienced in managing subsidiaries in Southeast and East Asia countries and preparation of consolidation

About This Role:-

Job Responsibilities

As a member of Private Bank Business Risk Controls Management (PB BRCM) team, this role will play an important role in assisting the Head of Private Bank BRCM in driving Risk and Regulatory Competency capabilities within the 1st line of defense.

· Support the CEO and colleagues, when called upon, to ensure success of the Company’s events and activities

Primary Responsibilities (regular frequency):
