Forecasting

• Develop forecasting and reporting process of key financial KPIs
• Responsible for accuracy and completeness of KPIs tracking and reporting
• Responsible for submission of business plan and forecasting, including timeline and scope management, submission of results and communication of such results to senior management and Group office
• Lead and drive preparation of Group dialogue and relevant meetings and support informed management decisions to drive company’s vision and targets

Sales reporting

• Develop sales reporting process, including obtaining financial data and preparing dashboard and presentation to senior management

Budget management

• Develop expense budgeting process, including pulling information from various sources (procurement system, financial reporting system, manual tracking) and building monthly summary of actual vs. budget

Governance

• Prepare and maintain all financial-related procedures and policy documents
• Support any group or local regulatory governance reporting

Others

• Support Head of Finance for financial advisers’ compensation matters, onboarding of new initiatives and schemes and ad-hoc investigation and establishing of new processes

We are representing our client, the Singapore branch of a multinational banking group, to look for a Non-Performing Loan (NPL) Senior Manager to manage the Singapore Branch’s Corporate Banking NPL accounts.

Job Description

• Handle, monitor and follow up on the Branch's NPL accounts; set up the recovery strategy and manage the recovery of NPL and written off accounts.
• Prepare recovery proposals for approval in accordance with the Branch's authorization.
• Monitor material risk events, and ensure timely reporting to Management/Head Office; and follow up on the progress of potential NPL accounts.
• Review/Prepare monthly management reports on collection and recovery.
• Negotiate with borrowers in collaboration with cross functional departments such as Corporate Banking and Legal departments etc. and liaise with external parties such as lawyers and judicial manager etc.
• Ensure that post-loan management and NPL collection are carried out in accordance with the Head Office and Branch Management requirements and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the completion of key performance indicators relating to asset quality management assigned by Head Office and Management.
• Review and formulate the Branch’s systems, procedures and requirements relating to material risk event management, NPL management and collection work.
• As a second line defense, set up the post-loan management risk framework to prevent potential NPL, and follow up and guide the Font Office on post-loan management activities.

Job Requirements

• More than 8 years of NPL management work experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Law, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related major.
• Managerial experience is preferred.
• Familiar with the regulatory requirements of bank's bad credit collection.
• Familiar with legal terms in restructuring, litigation, repossession and liquidation.
• Possess independent project management capability.

• Review facility documentations including facility agreement, collateral and other documents to ensure completion of documentation, perfection of collateral documents, satisfaction of conditions precedent, conditions subsequent and other approval requirements;

This role involves working as part of the APAC Finance team where you will be reporting to the AVP, APAC Finance to support Allied World Australia Branch operation. The responsibility of this role ensures finance operation and reporting function follow the Group reporting requirements.

Job Duties:

· Ensure incoming receipts are applied timely and accurately in the systems.
· Work with Credit Control, Account Managers and external customers to resolve disputes to get unallocated receipts to an acceptable level.
· Responsible for monthly updating and reconciling of cash book.
· Prepare/review month-end closing activities in relation to Group reporting.
· Support balance sheet reconciliations and ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
· Handle queries or requirements from other business functions, management and auditors
· Assist AVP, Finance closely in driving forward enhancements and process improvements to ensure the effective and efficient control - provide inputs for continuous improvement, also look for opportunities to streamline and enhance the same processes by way of possible automation.
· Support AVP, Finance and other business functions through providing finance-related input to help with decision making, including internal/external audits and the preparation and review of all reporting requirements.
· Collaborate with various stakeholders to discuss and resolve issues.
· Undertake projects on an ad-hoc basis to ensure necessary finance-related requirements are met.

Essential Requirements:

· Degree in Accountancy or Finance. US GAAP experience preferred
· 3-5 years experience in the Insurance industry, preferably non-life insurance
· Excellent knowledge of accounting rules and regulatory requirements
· Ability to be hands-on, to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
· Excellent PC skills with a good working knowledge of Excel
· Good communication/interpersonal skills and detail oriented
