Job Requirements:

• Min. Chartered Accountant / CPA with at least 5 to 6 years of relevant experience, with some experience in managing a team. Experience with experience in Big 4 and B2B/retail will be an advantage
• Sharp business acumen, ability to apply a fresh view to enhance process efficiencies for continual improvements
• Team player with high interpersonal competence, high motivation and positive work attitude.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with capability to proactively map out next steps and break through potential stalemate situations.
• Strong communication skills

Job Duties:

• Provide PM/ BA support for global payments related project, focusing on identification & documentation of regional payments activities.
• Perform root cause analysis of payment related Operational Risk Events and advise on the solutions and identifying any gaps
• Support the business requirements for identification of payments flows.
• Identifying and documenting key data elements within processing systems to enable rules-based controls to be set for management of large and anomalous payments.
• Deliver business requirements, prepare testing plans and execute/oversee testing and development of associated project artifacts as required for deliverables.
• Day-to-day management of individual project responsibilities
• Foster and maintain relationships with business and technology stakeholders and support engagement in working groups, steercos, and workshops where required.
• Identify key project risks, whether stated or not, and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications/ Skills:

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst/Program Manager within the Financial Services/Investment Banking industry.
• Knowledge of Markets Operations businesses/ functions is required.
• Knowledge & understanding of payments workflows and controls beneficial.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, have great attention to detail and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative.
• Have experience of leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) projects, including overseeing the development & implementation of the UAT test plan, scripts and tools using the detailed functional requirements document.
• Excellent Excel, Powerpoint and process mapping skillsets required.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment under tight contractual deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate to a range of audiences and facilitate discussions.

Role

• Gather, analyze, and formalize user requirements and processes. This includes understanding the user's needs, documenting their requirements, and evaluating the feasibility of implementing those requirements.
• Prepare project documentation. This includes creating requirement specifications, project plans, and other documentation that is needed to manage the project.
