Responsibilities: 

• Monitor Purchase Orders (PO)

• Perform MIRO
• Analyse PO with discrepancies
• Post invoices without purchase orders
• Monitor Fixed Asset payments including deposits paid but not yet capitalized
• Prepare payment & journal entries
• Work with the Assistant AP Manager on any ad-hoc duties   
• Follow up with Controllers & Area Managers on accruals/provision
• Liaise with Planner on stock discrepancies
• Liaise with colleagues, suppliers and inter-companies on billing enquiries
• Liaise with auditors on any audit queries
• Liaise with HQ on stock and payable reconciliation

Main responsibilities

• As a Junior Data Analyst, you will work with AI Factory development team – who is building ML, NLP based algorithms to derive information from unstructured text, digital documents, scanned documents, web-sites, etc.
• You contribute to the development of transversal projects, improvement of capabilities of the team and promote AI based application development. The scope of responsibilities includes:
• Work closely with data scientist / data engineers on data retrival, collection, cleasing and annotation
• Utlize coding languages (Pythin, SQL, etc.) to build statistical patterns and analysis on given data and communicate them effectively
• Develop new or maintaining existing data processing pipelines
• Help team to make data-driven decisions and present data in understandable ways
• Working closely with internal stakeholders / cross functional teams
• Other relevant duties as assigned

Qualifications and Profile

• A Bachelor’s or Post graduate degree from a recognized university.
• Proficient of software development experience in programming languages such as Python / Java / Node.
• Strong background in mathematics and statistics
• Experience with data science / machine learning development tools such as Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, NLTK, spaCy, TensorFlow, OpenCV, etc.
• Experience with NLP technologies, handling of unstructured text data, image processing (OCR) and web-scraping – is a value addition.
• Experience in databases such as MySQL, MongoDB or Redis graph.
• Intellectual curiosity and interest in finding new ways to do things, combined with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong understanding of FRS accounting and disclosure requirements in the banking industry.
• Experience in financial planning, analysis, and MAS reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

General Description
The incumbent will be responsible for post execution support for OTC derivative products across FX, Equities and Rates, ensuring timely and accurate capture of trades into Bank of Singapore core banking risk system. This is also a control function role requiring the incumbent to work closely with Front Office, Trading Desks, Settlements and Technology in managing the bank’s risk relating to the supported product classes. These combined, the incumbent should be able to contribute significantly in a team setting, apply critical thinking to problem solving and excel under stressful conditions.

Main Duties

Regulatory Reporting

• Perform daily validation and enrichment of derivatives reporting for MAS (DTCC) and HKTR
• Perform reporting and clear exceptions for Mifir Reporting
• Perform monthly validation and enrichment of MAS610 turnover report
• Perform portfolio reconciliation across all FX and EQ products via Tri-Optima portal

Documentation

• Perform validation on long form ISDA confirmation (FX and Equity structure products) received from counterparties against our trade booking in T24 core system
• Liaise with counterparty/internal stakeholders for any trade discrepancies
• Daily update tracker and monitoring of non-receipt of confirmation from counterparties
• Update weekly control report to ensure our documentation control aligned with KRI

Ad Hoc

• Perform UAT where nominated by line manager
• Manage any ad hoc assignments delegated by line manager

Qualifications - External

• Minimum of 2 years in OTC derivative products space in either FX, Rate and/or Equities
• Experience working with different stakeholders eg. Front Office (Bankers/Traders), Risk team.
• Knowledge of either Temenos or regulatory reporting platforms preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills – VBA preferred
