We are seeking a Workplace Safety & Health Officer to ensure the development, implementation, and oversight of health and safety programs and policies within our organization.

Key accountabilities include:

• Maintain safety & health standards in accordance with the WSH Act and WSH legislative requirements
• Understanding and compliance with statutory requirements and client’s expectation.
• Establish and review the project-specific Safety Management System.
• Develop, review, and maintain Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures, and other relevant legal HSE documents for the main contractor, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
• Administer safety & health records in line with company’s accreditation (bizSAFE Star) and participate in ISO 9001 implementation and audits.
• Liaise with MOM, NEA, PUB, and other relevant authorities on WSH-related matters as applicable.
• Conduct investigations to accidents and incidents, interview affected parties and also implement corrective measures to prevent future occurrence
• Organise and ensure safety and health talks and toolbox meetings are conducted for all personnel on site.
• Organize safety campaign and training based on safe work procedures and risk assessments to enhance greater EHS Culture.
• Maintain the company and workers' PPE, tools, and equipment register.
• Ensure all facilities and equipment are in proper working condition and meet health and safety requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Management team

Requirements:

• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WHSO)
• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in construction (ID trade)
• Experience in the implementation of ISO9001
