Job Description:

• Compilation and analysis of management reports for weekly cash flow report
• Support month-end consolidation close process for Best Estimates and Actuals. This includes data loading and validation, posting of consolidation journals, and preparation of management reports.
• Review country inputs, including query on missing information and/or significant variances as part of the close process.
• Prepare monthly and ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting packs as required
• Assist in ad-hoc projects and annual budgeting exercise

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ Finance
• Must be proficient in Excel
• Knowledge in HFM, Hyperion (Essbase) and SAP an added advantage
• Working knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage due to exposure to China market
• Able to work under pressure with tight deadline
• Able to handle tasks independently
• Good analytical skill, with an eye for detail

Job Descriptions:

• Handle full sets of accounting treatment, ales and purchase recognition, AR and AP entries
• Accounting treatment of expenditures
• Accruals and other relevant month end journals
• Proper accounting treatment of Fixed Assets and DD&A
• Check and maintain of all financial ledgers
• Derivative-related jobs, Daily statement review and analysis
• Preparing periodic statements (weekly, monthly and ad hoc)
• Daily mark-to-market report preparation, margin analysis/forecast, and stress test if necessary
• Relating AR/AP check and payment application (commission, settlement, margin, etc.)
• Reconciliation of cash balance
• Accounts balance review and analysis
• Assist preparing monthly and yearly financial reports.
• Issue or assist issuing sales Invoices, debit/credit notes, etc. and keep proper record
• Assist to accomplish check of AR/AP balance, including inter-company accounts
• Liaise with internal and external auditors
• Assist to prepare monthly management reporting documents
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar majors
• At least 5 years accounting experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical industry, Commodities trading with audit experience in accounting firms
• Strong understanding of derivatives principles and practices is preferred
• Strong analytical and communication skills
