Responsibilities

• Responsible in leading the operations of the Guest Services Department (Front Desk, Concierge, Bell, Driveway, Communication Centre) in support of the Guest Services Manager.
• Ensure the guest journey from the moment of reservation till beyond checkout is in line with the Artyzen Hotels and Resorts experience. This includes the reservations, pre-arrival, and post arrival communication with the guest.
• Implement a consistent guest recognition program and ensure that all information gathered on the guests is correctly recorded in the guest profile and that this is updated regularly.
• Ensure that the Department Operational Budget is strictly adhered to.
• Monitor service and Operation standards in the hotel.
• Support Host needs in other departments based on the hotel priorities and anticipated business levels.
• Be available and on duty during peak periods (frequently opening and closing the operation)
• Conduct frequent and thorough room inspections in liaison with Housekeeping.
• Accept requests from guests regarding assistance with obtaining transportation, baggage handling, limousine transfer and local area knowledge.
• Establish a rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationship and handle all guest complaints, requests and enquiries on Guest Services.
• Be personally and frequently verify that guest’s check-in / out are receiving the best possible service.
• Ensure the Guest Services Department meets quality and internal standards. Identify process improvements and best practices. Provide feedback and develop processes to improve the guest experience.
• Ensure corrective training is implemented based on the feedback received
• Maintain standards of guest service quality. Analyze response time to guest’s requests for items and maintenance requests and highlight any issues to the respective department head.
• Ensure that the Guest Services team projects a warm, professional and welcome image.
• Collaborate with Guest Services Manager in preparation of annual department operating budget: Monitor monthly expenses, with emphasis on wages, variances, assisting in preparing schedules, ordering, inventory management, and other administrative duties as needed.
• To undertake any other reasonable task or request as directed by the management.

Requirements

• Higher diploma or degree holder in Hospitality, Hotel Management or an equivalent qualification
• Minimum of two years of previous experience in a front office supervisory in an established or luxury/upscale or boutique hotel.
• managerial position, preferably from an international luxury hotel.

• Good command of written and spoken English

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for cooking, preparing, washing and storing of all food produce efficiently. Required to exercise high standards of overall safety, cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen area at all times, including:

• Delivery and collection of food using food warmer trolley or food bag for every meal.
• Basic Cooking and food preparation.
• To do dishwashing and ensure cleanliness for all crockeries, utensils, equipment and melamine.
• To clean and sanitize the food warmer and transport trolleys after every meal.
• To dispose food waste into proper waste bins and transport down to disposable green bins at bin centre.
• To do food plating in the kitchen for all residence levels according to diet requirements.
• To take note of diet change and ensure that diets are served correctly according to requirements (e.g. pureed, minced/chopped, normal & special diet)
• To ensure precise food proportioning of meat, vegetables and rice for meals provided.
• Ensure strict adherence to good food and personal hygiene practices at all times.
• Perform timely housekeeping within the kitchen premises and dry store.
• Duties requires heavy lifting at times ( e.g. Able to top-up 25kg rice sack into container)
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Primary School Education
• Able to understand and speak basic English
• Those without the necessary certificate will be required to attend and pass the basic course and even refresher exam (when required)
• Those who possess Certificate in Basic Food Hygiene will have an advantage
• Class 3 driving license will have an advantage
• Physically Fit and able to stand for long hours
• Able to carry heavy load if required

1. Stakeholder Engagement

• Establish strong rapport and close communications with Partners through an integrated Account Management approach
• Work with Partners to drive plans that support their aspirations and development and facilitate collaborations with relevant stakeholders (internal and external)
• Support Partners on operations-related matters, including implementation of services / initiatives, compliance with licensing and service requirements, and feedback management

2. Programme Management

• Support capacity development of Home Care and Centre-based services
• Support management of programme deliverables, track progress and ensure compliance to development of programmes and implementation timelines
• Assist with driving improvement in operational processes as well as delivery of care services

3. Sector Operations Administration

• Review data from progress reports and develop insights on trends in utilisation of programmes / services
• Assist Partners to source for funding and resources from relevant teams and agencies (including working with them to craft proposals, if necessary) to support growth plans
• Assist in other responsibilities arising from new developments in programmes / services

Job Requirements:

• Degree in any discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant healthcare experience
• Candidates with experience in project management and stakeholder engagement are preferred
• Competency in basic statistics and MS Office applications
• Possess strong interpersonal skills & ability to work with diverse groups of people
• Knowledge in geriatrics and community services
• Ability to work independently to help drive projects, with demonstrated adaptability and learning agility in a dynamic environment
• Strong organisational skills in communication, time management, analytics, critical thinking and problem-solving are necessary

• Ensure Youth Work Associates (YWAs) and Night Residential Care Worker (NRCW) understanding and alignment of practice with the overall philosophy
