Key Responsibilities:

Position Summary

Job Description

Accounts Payable

• Perform vendor master data maintenance, invoice processing, cost accruals and monthly AP closing.
• Handle vendors’ audit confirmation, monthly AP reconciliation, audit schedules and related audit queries.
• Ensure smooth daily AP operations including but not limited to communicate with vendors and user departments to verify the accuracy of invoices including 3-way matching and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues promptly.
• Ensure full compliance with AP policies and procedures.
• Manage employee expenses claim process.

Fixed Asset Management

• Perform FA master data maintenance (capitalisation, disposal, transfer and write-off), monthly FA closing, reconciliation and preparation of the related audit schedules.
• Review CIP and manage capex requisition projects.
• Ensure compliance with fixed asset policies and procedures.
• Conduct annual assets count and manage the related audit queries.

Job Title: Accounts Payable (AP) & Inventory Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated AP & Inventory Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting to the company Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable and Inventory functions, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, payables and assisting in process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

· Lead and handle Accounts Payable functions, including preparation of monthly payments and accruals.

· Reconcile monthly AP balances and maintain accurate AP aging listing.

· Monitor and update daily cash book and ensure timely recording of financial transactions.

· Prepare monthly inventory aging listing and reconcile monthly WIP, ensuring accurate recording of inventory.

· Perform gross margin analysis and collaborate with other departments on inventory management processes.

· Responsible for preparation, reconciling and closing of monthly and annual inter-company transactions.

· Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and reporting.

· Responsible for other accounting processes and tasks (e.g. AP process and GL, account reconciliation, etc.)

· Assist in new processes and system implementation when required.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

· 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable and/or Inventory accounting

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

· Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
