Summary

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage and Events Director to join our team. This pivotal role will oversee all Food & Beverage operations and manage every aspect of events hosted at the club. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the F&B landscape in Singapore and will be tasked to develop and implement a long-term F&B strategy while effectively managing our current temporary setup with an external partner.

Key Responsibilities:

Food & Beverage Management:

· Develop a new F&B business model to align with strategic goals of the Club, requirements of its members whilst enhancing operational efficiency and profitability.

· Collaborate closely with the F&B committee and Main Committee on the business model analyses and final proposal.

· Lead the implementation of the new F&B strategy and final business model.

· Together with our current caterer continue to improve and develop diverse high-quality food menus that meets the tastes and preferences of our members for the various areas including the restaurant, meetings & events.

· Curate and oversee an extensive drinks portfolio to ensure diverse and high-quality offerings.

· Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to support seamless operations and procurement.

· Develop and implement effective pricing strategies for menus to optimize profitability and competitiveness.

· Create and maintain budgets for food and beverage operations, including forecasting and cost control.

· Conduct thorough sales and performance analysis to identify trends, drive improvements, and achieve revenue targets.

· Identify and manage partnerships and sponsorships within the F&B sector to enhance brand presence and opportunities.

· Implement and monitor quality control measures together with our partner maintain high standards across all F&B operations.

· Manage POS system to streamline transactions and inventory processes.

· Design and deliver comprehensive service training programs to improve team performance and member satisfaction.

· Develop and implement standard operational procedures to ensure consistence and high-quality delivery.

Event Management:

· Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events, including private parties, corporate functions, club events and sport socials.

· Actively generate leads from external clients and member base.

· Work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide recommendations and provide tailormade quotations.

· Oversee event execution, logistics, including setup, food and drinks offering, staff coordination, and post-event evaluation.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure high levels of satisfaction.

· Work closely with the membership department and sports teams to develop a robust and action-packed events and socials calendar

· Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are accounted for and that the event is executed within the allocated budget.

General:

· Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to keep the club’s offerings competitive and innovative.

· Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere within the club.

The role

To further increase our school’s brand awareness and improve our online positioning, we are looking for an experienced content creator to elevate our social media channels as well as our monthly blogs and newsletters. We have an existing content strategy in place and require you to execute this strategy.

To be successful in this role it is key that you are able to both create as well as coordinate content. Working for an international school will require you to translate educational approaches to bite-size and understandable content that caters to the needs and expectations of our target audience.

Your responsibilities

• Content Creation: Collaborate with the business team to create engaging, relevant, and brand-aligned content to captivate our audience, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms/channels.
• Digital/Social Media: Develop and execute digital marketing calendar to increase online visibility and drive traffic to the organisation's website and social media platforms with paid/earned/owned media.
• Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyse, and report on the performance of online and social media campaigns and engagement activities, making recommendations for improvement
• CRM Management: Manage and execute email campaigns. Utilise results from the campaign and make necessary adjustments.
• Event and Administrative Support: Support the organisation of events, trade shows & fairs, and promotional activities/campaigns.
• Liaise with the different partners inside and outside the school to ensure consistent messaging, data collection, and development of new materials.As part of the Business team, you will work with your colleagues, the management, teachers and our school’s board to promote our school in Singapore and beyond.

You have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Communication or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing, preferably in the education sector
• A proven track record creating content for social media such as Instagram,Facebook, and LinkedIn
• Proficiency in design/editing software (Photoshop, InDesign, Canva), digitalmarketing tools, social media platforms, and CRM management systems would be anadvantage
• Experience with SEO copywriting & SEM
• A proactive, hands-on mentality
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• A good sense of the latest marketing & social media trends
• Excellent English communication and writing skills.

We offer you

A temporary contract from the date of employment until 30 August 2024. Part of the benefits package is a salary of SGD 2,125, monthly transport allowance and 12.5 holidays based on a year contract, 20-hour workweek.
