The Senior Manager - Commercial & Estimation will be responsible for producing various classes of cost estimates for rig repair and refurbishment projects. They will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that estimates are comprehensive and adhere to project requirements.

Details/duties:

• Attend project meetings to obtain thorough understanding of Scope of Work and cost estimate requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for Jack Up drilling rig projects including engineering, procurement, fabrication, site manhours (application of agreed norms) and third-party vendors.
• Write basis of estimate / supporting estimate notes / drawings detailing qualifications, assumptions & exclusions.
• Through understanding on Shipyard Structural, Piping and Electrical cost estimations.
• Support reviews and assurance of cost estimates.
• Maintain accurate records within the Estimating Register.
• Understanding of Cost and Planning Interfaces.
• Interrogate cost, planning and procurement information and reports with supporting data.
• Prepare revisions to cost estimates in a controlled manner.
