Key responsibilities

• Implement and execute regional merchandising strategy and commercial priorities by being up to date with regional assortment and demand & inventory strategy.
• Optimize local selling peaks driven by optimizing product exposure strategy to calendar, customer shopping behavior and commercial plan; be responsible to share information towards the digital team regarding availability, activation plan and deal structure to support excellent execution on site.
• Drive in and post season inventory management by picking full price, discount and sale activities in line with regional merch direction, as well as executing stock management, sale, EOP and commercial reduction.
• Follow up on stock and resolve issues together with regional merchandising manager and e-commerce lead; execute regional strategy for commercial impact on key product categories based on in season performance.
• Know your market retail situation and customer profile, providing commercial team with constant and structured sales follow up for the channel, as well as commercial initiatives in store (visit the site in all touchpoints several times a week) to confirm or adjust actions needed.

This position will be the dedicated Compensation & Benefits resource supporting our International Developmental Licensed Segment (Asia, EMEA and Latin America Business Units) as well as our Corporate Function employees located in our Dubai, Hong Kong, and Singapore Corporate offices. This role will be responsible for local design and the day-to-day analysis, evaluation, execution, and communication of programs and policies related to compensation and benefits.  The Rewards Lead will work cross-functionally with HR Business Partners, Business Unit Leaders and Global Total Rewards (GTR) to ensure competitive Rewards offerings for the IDL organization and employees in the Asia, Latin America and EMEA regions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide regional support to HR as it pertains to Rewards throughout the waved implementation of a new global Human Capital Management system, Global People Transformation initiative and opening of a Shared Services capability centre
• Participate annually in local salary surveys to ensure base pay and allowances are properly benchmarked and competitive
• Evaluate new roles for adherence to McDonald’s global job levelling criteria using Mercer’s IPE (International Position Evaluation) Tool
• Market price positions at all levels of the organization utilizing external market data and internal position comparisons to develop and maintain salary range structures by country
• Support IDL segment/business units and corporate functions by preparing local compensation recommendations to facilitate promotions, demotions, international transfers, and lateral job changes
• Act as the IDL focal for the Annual Compensation Cycle, providing input into local country merit budgets and merit planning guidelines, educating managers on the process and timeline, reviewing planned merit, bonus and equity recommendations, providing rollup reporting to IDL Business Leaders and HRBPs, and facilitating BU calibrations
• Act as the IDL lead and country focal for annual Pay Equity analysis, reporting, and remediation
• Annually, or as needed, review and benchmark Benefit & Wellness offerings, providing HRBPs and GTR with recommendations for local changes/enhancements to external ensure market competitiveness
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis as needed to support data driven decision making
• Partner with other Total Rewards team members to develop education/communication materials on compensation fundamentals and identify opportunities to streamline, standardize and enhance existing processes

Your Career

We are looking for an extraordinary Safety & Security Operations Lead to lead safety and security operations across our JAPAC region. We need someone with a passion for protecting corporate assets, including people, property, and information worldwide. You will coordinate on all aspects of security operations, including managing of programs, ensuring adherence to security policies and procedures, and planning and executing events in JAPAC. You will also play a crucial role in responding to security incidents and ensuring compliance with all applicable security regulations. 

Reporting to Senior Manager, Safety & Security JAPAC, you will work closely with teams such as IT, HR, Risk, Engineering, Sales, and Places. We are seeking a team player who enjoys working independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced and dynamic company. This role will be based at our Singapore office.

• Support JAPAC Senior Safety & Security Management in delivering quality security services to all Palo Alto Network sites across the regions. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Creating, implementing, enforcing and maintaining safety-related written programs, policies, procedures, documents, and training
  • Preparing and maintaining security reports for management
  • Conducting comprehensive incident reports and following through to completion with sites on corrective and preventative actions
  • Supporting our front-of-house teams in relation to access control programs and practices
  • Serving as a point of contact for JAPAC in safety and physical security matters related to Palo Alto Networks and its employees
  • Assisting the Global Security Events team in planning and executing security events in JAPAC
• Maintain security-related vendor relationships with guidance from Senior Manager,  Safety & Security JAPAC, Places team and the landlords
• Oversee the daily operations of security guards and receptionists across the region, including keeping track and ensuring all personnel are up to date with mandatory training 
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends.
