Assist WSHO to maintain & update the SHMS
Coordinate with sub-con's WSHC/Safety Supervisors on EHS issues
Assist WSHO to review RA & SWP
Carry out daily inspection to ensure all works are carried out in a safe manner through elimination of unsafe acts and unsafe conditions on site
Assist WSHO for EHS promotion and trainings to all workers & colleagues for greater awareness & culture
Carry out inspection, examining machinery and equipment, level of noise, heat or harmful or hazardous substances in the workplace
To assume the role of safety assessor in the Permit-to-work (PTW) system
Assist to conduct regular Toolbox meetings with emphasis on safety aspects
Ensure full compliance to all statutory safety requirements such as those pertaining to work platforms, gondolas, scaffolds and the maintenance and certification of all machinery and equipment on site
To maintain all safety documentations and records on site
Conduct In-house training
Assist in Investigation, handle, report and liaise with relevant parties for accidents or EHS non-compliance
To lead safety workers to rectify all unsafe condition
Minimum 3 years relevant experience preferably in the LTA project/building construction industry
Possess a Certificate in Safety Coodinators Course from approved institutes, confined space, and work at Height assessor certificates
Able to work independently with a positive attitude
Possess good leadership and organizing abilities
Able to work on rotating shift work, if necessary
