Job Summary

The Junior Financial & Planning Analyst will assist in forecasting, analyzing and reporting financial data in order to provide accurate and timely financial information to the management team of the company.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements
• Conduct financial analysis using various tools and techniques
• Assist with financial modeling and scenario planning
• Ensure that financial data is accurate and complete
• Provide support on ad hoc financial projects as needed

Qualifications & Skills Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
• Strong analytical skills with ability to work with large datasets
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial information to non-financial team members
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines

About the role:

• Manage the Payroll in ensuring that all staff are paid accurately and that payslips, statutory returns and reports are produced and validated in a timely manner
• Undertake day-to-day payroll activities to ensure practical knowledge and smooth running of the service, enabling the provision of cover on all payrolls
• Validate and reconciliation of post payroll output and the loading of costing files to the General Ledger
• Manage all monthly and year-end statutory returns
• Work closely with Finance to ensure that processes are aligned and work effectively
• Liaise with internal and external Auditors, assisting as necessary and providing any required information
• Ensure payroll records are updated in a timely manner by reviewing changes in exemptions, deductions, and department/ division transfers.
• Conduct various payroll reconciliations and troubleshoots any issues that arise.
• Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
• Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential

About you:

• Highly organized, task focused and very meticulous
• Procedure knowledge in extensive payroll experience and very process oriented with the ability to put in good controls for the entire end-to-end process
• Technological skills required include experience and strong in IT systems and payroll software
• Diploma / Certificate in Human Resource Management or Business Management
• Excellent time management and planning skills
• Excellent numerical and communication skills

Job Description:

This is both a client-facing and Power BI Development role, developing dashboards for clear, actionable insights.

• Visit clients and prospects to discuss their business requirements and understand their data visualization needs.
• Design and develop interactive, and user-friendly Power BI reports, and dashnoards.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data visualization solutions for decision making.
• Optimize and maintain existing reports, dashboards.
• Provide training and provide post implementation support to clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a data and business intelligence role, with a focus on Power BI.
• Good understanding of DAX and M (Power Query) languages, as well as data modeling and ETL techniques.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Possess Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
