Roles & Responsibilities

The RAQA Manager is responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance and quality affair functions within the organization. The RAQA Manager will work closely with the Head of RAQA and cross- functionally with teams including R&D, Product Development and Operations teams to ensure regulatory requirements and regulatory strategies are effectively implemented and quality systems are maintained and improved.

Key Responsibilities:

(a) Prepare good quality technical documentation.

(b) Manage regulatory submissions for pre-market product registration, renewals, and amendments to ensure timely market entry and compliance.

(c) Stay up to date on evolving regulations and guidelines and provide guidance to internal teams on regulatory landscape.

(d) Monitor post- market surveillance and timely reporting to regulatory authorities.

(e) Prepare and support internal audits, regulatory inspections and audits by notified body, regulatory agencies, partners, and addressing any findings or non- compliance issues that arise.

(f) Support supplier management and audits.

(g) Manage and maintain the effectiveness of Quality Management System (ISO 13485).

(h) Develop, implement and maintain SOPs and quality processes.

(i) Provide training to employees on regulatory and quality requirements.

(j) Responsible for database, processes and systems within RAQA.

Qualifications and Competency

(a) At least Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.

(b) At least 5 years of professional experience in regulatory affairs and quality affairs in medical device industry.

(c) In-depth knowledge of global regulatory frameworks (US FDA, EU MDR, TGA, SG HSA etc)

(d) Strong knowledge and understanding of ISO 13485, GMP, regulatory and quality standards

(e) Excellent project management, organizational and problem solving skills

(f) Strong attention to details with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

(g) Excellent written and verbal communication skills

(h) Proficient in Microsoft Office

(i) Background in medical device manufacturing would be an added advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Investigate marine accidents and record findings accurately and timely into the system
• Analyze marine accidents and security information and provide updates to fleet
• Establish countermeasures and policies and publish circulars for learning and accident prevention
• Analyse accident statistics and provide insights to management
• Provide advice to the vessel operation team, chartering and post fixture team on incidents of safety/security, etc.
• Support shore staff’s training on board vessels
• Manage pre-joining briefing of seafarers
• Research new regulations and technologies related to maritime safety and quality
• Manage and coordinate the Crisis Management Centre in case of emergency. Maintain the Crisis Management Plan and carry out drills for severe maritime incidents.

Requirements

• Mercantile Marine University/College or equivalent
• At least 2 years experience as a superintendent/manager (Marine/Manning) in ship management companies or equivalent.
• Experience as the Chief Officer on board Container Vessels
• Good communications and coordination skills to work with teams from diverse backgrounds
• Experience as DPA, Superintendent (Marine or Manning) in Ship management company or related to Maritime Security
• Practical experienced in handling emergencies or casualties on the vessels from the shore headquarters/office
• Experience in studying the data of the incidents and inspecting from the viewpoint of statistics and data science advantageous

• Manage and improve ship inspection regime to ensure safety and quality of the fleet which include working with 3rd party inspection companies for such inspections
• Carryout such inspection by self when necessary (occasional)
• Perform administrative work for the inspection regime including but not limited to analysis of the outcome and feedback for improvement
• Provide professional advice and recommendations for Machinery related issues for troubleshooting
• Conduct analysis of Machinery issues information with the objective of updating the fleet for smooth operations
• Manage pre-joining briefing of seafarers
• Research new regulations and technology related to maritime safety and quality.
• Evaluate conditions of vessels before hiring
• Manage ISO9001 surveys and certification

Requirements

Job Scope

• Assisting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing of the service of the Restaurant.
• In-charging the restaurant when Restaurant Manager is not around.
• Greeting and coordinating the guests’ seats and assign guests to tables suitable to the size of each group.
• Recording and reporting all food-related complaints to the Chef immediately.
• Ensuring team briefings are carried out before each service period.
• Promoting the restaurant by establishing a loyal and regular customer base, maintaining a regular customer database and personalising customer service.
• Maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness, the maintenance of furnishings and equipment and the proper set up of in the Restaurant and connected areas or pantries.
