As a Digital & Social Marketing - Manager, you will be responsible for devising a lead generation strategy that will improve and meet the new customer outreach needs, as well as contribute to the growth of the assigned customer base.

You must have a strong grasp of the latest lead generation techniques, lead management systems, and all aspects of digital and social marketing and campaigns to effectively promote brands and/or products.

• Works with the ops teams to ensure their commitment and engagement in the plans and in turn ensures optimal marketing and lead generation execution
• Manages assigned budgets prudently and strategically

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications with minimum 5 or more years of proven experience in lead generation/ management and consumer marketing
• Commercial exposure and understanding preferred
• Portfolio of completed projects
• Robust knowledge and proficiency in lead generation, social and digital marketing, and writes well
• Familiar with lead management software and/or CRM program
• Proven experience in developing and executing marketing plans and campaigns
• Strong project management skills – able to manage multiple projects, and execute them well

You will be doing:

• Provide excellent customer service

• Achieve standards set on sales floor; incl. till (handling of cash and credit cards), service zones, etc

• Manage departmental stocks and products availability to facilitate layout planning

• Accurate stock movement and replenishment (e.g. delivery check, stock transfer)

• Cashiering duties and handling customers' return items

• Contribute positively to achieving sales target

Specific Responsibilities:

Food Department - Required to lift loads of up to 15kg and helping customer with product information

Clothing Department - Fitting room duties, helping customers find the right sizing, styling and general servicing

You need to be:

• Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays

• Highly motivated with good insight of customer service with or without working experience

• Excellent communication skills and outgoing personality

• Service oriented with high enthusiasm to serve

Experience in supermarket/ food store / clothing retail environment will be an added advantage

The role:

Brand and Marketing Manager is someone who is driven and motivated by opportunity to create, manage and develop a brand. We are looking for someone who is not scared to push boundaries and take risks to redefine our product category. As a key member of the management team, he/she will be reporting and working closely with the Executive Director directly. This role is responsible for the development and management of a company's brand as well as to lead / guide and develop the marketing team.

To succeed in the role, the individual is expected and needs to be able to excel in the following areas:

• (BUILD / CORE ARCHITECTURE) Lead development of the brand book and marketing plan which will outline the core operating principles and guidelines and the subsequent execution of the strategy.
• (EXECUTION) Strategic marketing activities to establish the brand image and awareness according to the positioning strategy by building a roadmap for short- and long-term plan with consistent approach.
• (EXECUTION) Tactical marketing activities to create and amplify brand awareness for the brand to gain more footfall into stores with a strong focus on digital and in store activations.

Responsibilities

• Brand Development: Develop brand guidelines and design new brand retail experience and product portfolio enhancements.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive full year marketing plan/calendar aligned with the company's growth model to drive customer acquisition, retention, and brand visibility across all regions of operation.
• Team Leadership: Lead an agile and high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Brand Management: Define and strengthen brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging and brand guidelines across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
• Campaign Management:Lead multi-channel marketing campaigns that leverage traditional and digital channels, including social media, influencer marketing, content marketing, and partnerships, to reach target audiences and drive user engagement.
• Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives to continuously optimise campaigns based on data-driven insights.
• Stakeholder Management:Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and coordination in executing marketing initiatives and achieving business objectives.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize return on investment and drive cost-efficient marketing campaigns.

Requirements

• 6 – 10 years’ experience in brand or product marketing and/or business development preferably in the F&B, FMCG, retail or hospitality industries, (ideally in the B2C Retail space).
• Degree in Business/Marketing/ from a recognised university.
• Exceptional knowledge in marketing disciplines, specifically in market positioning, customer and business segmentation, go-to-market strategies, and brand management.
• Exceptional knowledge and passion in Branding, specifically the ability to create a brand identity for the brand (lead external agencies / internal resources independently once direction has been set).
• Solid track record in executing sophisticated brand or product launch programs across various offline and online channels that drive measurable business outcomes.
• Keen eye for design and aesthetics.
• Strong understanding of the Southeast Asian market, cultural nuances and regional consumer behaviour is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
