Job Responsibilities

• Lead New Hire Orientation and Forbes Service Standards training, instilling hotel values, service standards, and compliance knowledge.
• Design individual development plans to enhance skills and improve service quality, including specialized English courses for non-native speakers.
• Organize sessions on customer service, safety, and compliance, while collaborating with external experts for specialized certifications.
• Regularly evaluate program impact using KPIs and feedback to make data-driven improvements.
• Partner with department heads to address skill gaps, mentor high-potential talent, and support career progression through tailored growth paths and cross-departmental exposure.
• Manage internship programs with local universities and participate in recruitment drives to attract promising talent.
• Oversee the training budget, ensuring efficient resource use and high-quality delivery.

A Restaurant Assistant Manager oversees daily operations, manages staff, ensures compliance with standards, handles customer issues, and supports marketing activities for a positive dining experience.

Assistant Managers are in charge of the daily business operations. They verify employee schedules and ensure new hires understand their roles and duties. Assistant Managers handle phone calls regarding complaints and questions about orders or further escalations regarding services or products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Has a good knowledge of menu and presentation standards.
• Able to answer any questions regarding menu and assist with menu selections.

Job Qualification

• Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or related field. Familiar with Point of sale systems.
• At least 2 – 3 years of work experience in Food & Beverage gained, along with 1 year experience in a Captain position or a similar role an advantage.
• Willing to work on weekend, public holiday, and overtime when it is required.
• Good command in both spoken and written English.
• Excellent guest service skill.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service.
