Job Description:
- Conducting physical assessments of clients and developing or following a treatment plan.
- Assessing the home and work environments of clients and deciding what adjustments are needed.
- Document client progress, therapy sessions, and treatment plans accurately and timely in accordance with organizational and legal requirements.

- Develop, maintain, and deliver training programs for staffs, caregivers, or clients on topics such as care therapy, mobility, daily living skills, safety strategies, and therapeutic techniques.
- Conduct workshops and seminars to raise awareness and build skills related to rehabilitation, assistive technology, and accessibility.
- Provide hands-on training and practical demonstrations to enhance understanding and implementation of therapy-based interventions.

Job Requirements:
- A recognized Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
- More than 5 years of experience as an Occupational Physiotherapist, preferably in a community setting
- Experience in project management.
- Proven experience as an occupational therapist, with a focus on diverse client needs (e.g., physical rehabilitation, cognitive therapy, geriatrics, mental health).
- Previous experience in training or education, with the ability to present complex information in an accessible and engaging manner.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to design, implement, and evaluate training programs and workshops.
- Empathy, patience, and a passion for helping individuals achieve independence.
- Experience with assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
- Proficiency in Mandarin or dialects is an added advantage to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Travel may be required for home visits or off-site training sessions.

Compensation:
- No shift work
- Working days: 5.5 days work week
- Working hours: 9am to 6pm (Weekdays) and 9am-1pm (Saturday).

JOB SUMMARY

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a senior fitness trainer who has an interest and specialisation in sports performance. They should have some understanding of the needs and demands around strength and conditioning, ideally with some experience with playing and coaching sports. The ideal candidate must be keen to develop their career as a strength and conditioning coach.

Personal Training: Required to take on personal training clients and train them within your working hours, especially in peak times. Minimum required monthly target of 100 hours.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Brief Job Description

• Conduct a professional assessment on client’s physical condition, fitness level and health condition;
• Customise and create an individualised workout routine for clients, based on their bodily strengths and weaknesses to meet their fitness goals
• Be effective in track progress and show results and achieve client retention.
• Demonstrate and educate clients on the safe and proper use of AF gym equipment and facilities, to avoid accidents and unnecessary injuries;
• Explain exercises in clear and efficient way, and suggest alternatives if needed;
• Monitor and track progress of clients’ fitness progress
• Lead both individual and group training sessions
• Research, experiment and evaluate new exercise techniques and trends
