Job Description:

• Assist Head Nurse in daily Operations of TCF
• Ensure smooth daily operation flow and to assist in daily operations being assigned by the Head Nurse or Management
• Participate in continuos quality improvement process
• Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines, facility policies, and best practices to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care
• Collaborate with different individuals including doctors, nurses, patients, families, support staff
• Provide ongoing education and training to nursing staff to keep them updated on the latest practices, procedures, and protocols
• Posses leadership skill in bringing the team to work towards the corporate's objectives
• Safeguard confidential files, records, and documents while upholding resident confidentiality
• Maintain productive working relationships within the Nursing Department and with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage an inventory of ward equipment, ensuring regular maintenance.
• Provide support to the Head Nurse in facility management and act as a deputy in her absence.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
• Possess a recognised Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Preference will be given to candidates with community nursing experience and a robust clinical background in Hospitals, Transitional Care Facilities, Nursing Homes, or Day Care Centres
• At least 3 years of clinical management experience
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and compliance standards.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with positive work attitude and strong commitment towards service excellence
• Ability to work in a team and in a fast pace environment
• Willing to work shifts, on weekends and public holidays
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications

About the Job

The Senior Staff Nurse works with the Nursing Leaders to organise and provide nursing services to residents in the Nursing Home. She/he will assist in research related to improvement in nursing care and participate actively in the quality assurance program

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care and service delivery.
• Conduct daily nursing rounds to assigned RLA to ensure maximum care and ascertain the need for additional or modified service.
• Be accountable for nursing care given, and ensures that personal practice and that of staff under supervision meet standards of practice.
• To ensure that the delivery of nursing care is organized so that the focus is on the individual residents; specific needs.
• To ensure that all documentation in relation to all aspects of the resident of resident care management is accurately maintained.
• To ensure the implementation of nursing policies and procedures Supervise staff to ensure safe medication practices.

Diploma/Advance Diploma/Degree in Nursing

Job Requirements:

• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified            
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with people of all levels
• Demonstrate skill and knowledge in the eldercare sector
• Able to work closely with the Multi-disciplinary team members

Working Hours

• 44 working hours per week (1 day off per week according to roster)

Sales Planning:

• Demonstrate a high level of sales expertise and relationship management through product & diseases knowledge, selling skills, product presentation skills and customer management.
• Promote key products of the company by detailing the features, advantages,  benefits & unique selling points of company’s products
• Flawless execution of marketing and sales programs
• Accurate forecasting of sales

Customer-focused Selling:

• Shape customer behaviors through leveraging on appropriate resources and stakeholders, maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, build sales volume and deliver growth in market share
• Increase the awareness and clinical usage of Santen products through clinical information sharing and patient segments positioning

Territory Management:

• Maximize effectiveness and efficiency of territory management (call, reach, frequency, field days, DDD & IMS data analysis, etc.)
• Expand the business through acquisition of new accounts and listing of products into private accounts, pharmacies and hospitals
• Preparate and execute effective Territory Action Plan (TAP) through data analysis, field intelligence under the guidance of the Sales Manager
• Achieve and maintain good merchandising standards in assigned retail outlets

Valuation and Targeting:

• Ensure effective identification of high value customers
• Continuous maintenance of accurate target customer lists to optimize territory coverage through segmentation and targeting exercise

Tracking and Responding to Results:

• Achieve territory objectives and respond promptly to changes in the market
• Report on sales and business performance for aligned portfolio/channel which includes providing updates on competitor activity
• Provide feedback to managers regarding customers, markets and product performance/issues
