Job Description: This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to various animal patients, including advanced nursing skills, diagnostic imaging, and patient care management. Collaboration with the veterinary team is essential for optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide triage and assist with admitting new cases
• Comfortably restrain patients for examinations and treatments
• Manage diverse workloads and prioritize patient care
• Perform advanced nursing skills: anaesthesia monitoring, radiography, dispensing controlled drugs
• Aid in anaesthesia monitoring and recovery
• Assist internal medicine vets with inpatients, including ICU cases
• Involved in diagnostic imaging: radiographs, ultrasound, endoscopy
• Recognize changes in patient status and adjust care plans
• Interpret lab test results and report to clinicians
• Maintain meticulous records, especially for anaesthesia and hospitalization

Qualifications:

• Certified Veterinary Nurse or equivalent qualification
• Experience in an emergency or specialist veterinary hospital is a plus
• Strong clinical skills and ability to manage high-stress situations
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development

As a Enrolled Nurse (Eye clinic), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Demonstrate expertise in clinical nursing skills and Basic Ophthalmic knowledge such as assessment of patient for surgery and monitoring of patient after surgery
• Record informative, accurate and concise statements on the vitals signs of patients
• Assist the Doctor during examination of patients
• Perform Intravenous cannulation and Venepuncture as required
• Monitor direct and indirect care delivery to ensure patient safety
• Attend to patients’ / customers’ complaints if required

• With Nitec in Nursing
• Must be registered under Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
