• Responsible in the consolidation of management books P&L (Revenue, COGS, OPEX, Headcount)  across Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa region
• Provides support in the annual budgeting, long-range planning and forecasting process
• Tracks and analyzes key performance metrics to monitor business performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborates closely with the various department heads and share financial insights on the revenue and OPEX performance control, financial modelling, contract renewals and areas for improvement.
• Prepares the weekly, quarterly revenue forecast, revenue reconciliation and latest OPEX estimates.
• Performs variance analysis and continuously drive forecast accuracy improvements.
• Prepares the monthly financial deck for management reporting and leadership updates to both corporate and internal stakeholders.
• Uploads the budget, forecast numbers and headcount into Hyperion.
• Evaluates the pricing strategy and impact of new contracts and sales promotion.
• Involves in the Hyperion customisation and UAT testing.
• Participates in other projects, such as new business streams as required.
• Supports other ad hoc analysis as needed.

Sales Planning:

• Demonstrate a high level of sales expertise and relationship management through product & diseases knowledge, selling skills, product presentation skills and customer management.
• Promote key products of the company by detailing the features, advantages,  benefits & unique selling points of company’s products

Customer-focused Selling:

• Shape customer behaviors through leveraging on appropriate resources and stakeholders, maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, build sales volume and deliver growth in market share
• Increase the awareness and clinical usage of Santen products through clinical information sharing and patient segments positioning

Territory Management:

• Maximize effectiveness and efficiency of territory management (call, reach, frequency, field days, DDD & IMS data analysis, etc.)
• Expand the business through acquisition of new accounts and listing of products into private accounts, pharmacies and hospitals
• Preparate and execute effective Territory Action Plan (TAP) through data analysis, field intelligence under the guidance of the Sales Manager
• Achieve and maintain good merchandising standards in assigned retail outlets

Valuation and Targeting:

• Ensure effective identification of high value customers
• Continuous maintenance of accurate target customer lists to optimize territory coverage through segmentation and targeting exercise

Tracking and Responding to Results:

• Achieve territory objectives and respond promptly to changes in the market
• Report on sales and business performance for aligned portfolio/channel which includes providing updates on competitor activity
• Provide feedback to managers regarding customers, markets and product performance/issues

We are looking to hire a Senior Life and Health Pricing Actuary to join our growing team in Singapore, reporting to the Head of Pricing of ANZ and group business of APAC. In this role you will be responsible for the pricing of life reinsurance treaties for the markets in Australia and New Zealand, and the wider group business (short-term business) opportunities across APAC. In more detail your responsibilities will include:

• Helping to grow the Asia Pacific Life business - a high priority objective for PartnerRe;
• Leading the delivery of pricing across both Individual and Group products across different markets while ensuring compliance with internal standards, proper risk assessment and best practice;
• Strong stakeholder management skills with an ability to confidently present to senior internal approvers including the Chief Pricing Actuary, local and regional CEOs;
• Working closely with Client Partners to enhance PartnerRe’s presence in market and grow the markets;
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients across the market, including presentation of experience analysis and reinsurance terms to key decision makers;
• Maintaining and developing pricing tools and models and updating terms of trade (e.g. benchmarks);
• Promoting PartnerRe’s expertise through targeted marketing efforts, supporting client visits and externally representing and promoting PartnerRe's capabilities
