About the Centre for Research in Health Systems Performance (CRiHSP)

Optimizing the performance of health systems is essential to ensuring the wellbeing and longevity of populations worldwide. Singapore is particularly well placed to lead research in this field as its health system has been consistently ranked as one of the best in the world based in independent evaluation with the Global Burden of Disease data. The new Centre for Research in Health Systems Performance (CRiHSP) aims to advance research in this area within the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine of the National University of Singapore (NUS) as the leading centre for research in health systems in Asia with the following core functions:

1. Research: empirical and methodological research and evidence synthesis on health systems performance with a particular focus on Value Based Healthcare.
2. Health policy intelligence: health policy impact analysis aimed at policy makers, service providers, researchers, and the wider public.
3. Capacity building: formal postgraduate programme (from certificates to PhD), fellowships, mentoring, on-the- job and ad hoc training

Duties and Responsibilities

The Research Associate will have the following duties:

• Contribution to the management of research activities including grant and IRB/DSRB applications, budgeting, planning and monitoring project timelines and generally support project management and coordination and liasing with internal and external stakeholders

• Assist the team in assigning instructors/facilitators for the company's various programs.
• Assign and confirm instructors/facilitators for programs based on the clients' various themes and objectives, selecting from the company pool of manpower.
• Source and build a new pool of Instructors/Facilitators actively for the programmes under your charge.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with instructors/facilitators across all related programs.
• Brief and disseminate information and SOPs to instructors/facilitators for various programs.
• Monitor the performance and discipline of instructors/facilitators, ensuring adherence to SOPs and the code of conduct.
• Track and maintain up-to-date records/logs of incidents or lapses at any events.
• Verify instructors'/ facilitators' log sheets at the beginning of each month for payment processing.
• Assist the Operations Manager or other program coordinators with any ad-hoc tasks as needed

Requirements:

• No experience required
• Minimum Diploma required
• Candidates with Sports Science Background will have an advantage
• Well versed with Microsoft Excel
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to converse with associates who can only speak Mandarin
