REQUIREMENT

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Clinical Governance Officer: To provide clinical governance and technical oversight for the dental clinic at SAMWMC in accordance with MOH’s HCSA regulations. It encompasses having to supervise a junior dental officer, and other volunteer dentists.
• Clinical Duties: General dental consultation, taking of diagnostic radiographs, and provide dental treatment of acute and chronic conditions encompassing but not limited to fluoride therapy and oral health instruction, non-surgical periodontal therapy, direct restorative procedures (Amalgam, GIC, Composite), dental extractions, minor oral surgeries (excision of wisdom teeth), non-surgical endodontic therapy.
• Administrative Duties: Responsible for budgeting and submission of budget proposals to HQ and to donors. Tracking, fulfilling and reporting of KPIs set for dental service at SAMWMC. Oversee procurement of required stocks and consumables of the clinic, which includes sourcing for quotes from various vendors. To be in-charge of maintenance and licensing of dental equipment (eg. SUMMARY OF POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, this position will be required to perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in prevention, diagnosis, treatment of diseases as well as patients monitoring with the clinicians. POSITION OBJECTIVES

• Responsible that all dialysis equipment is safe, complete and fully operational before, during and after each use. Include cleaning dialysis machine surface, work table and dialysis chair with appropriate disinfectant after each use
• Responsible to monitor and record patient’s vital signs during treatment and report any abnormality to staff f in charge
• Assist other staffs and doctors during treatment and examination of patients on treatment

An established 290-bed facility at Taman Jurong, we seek to provide long-term support, care and rehabilitation to the under-served and disadvantaged of the community at large, regardless of race or religion.

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with the resident’s doctor and multi-disciplinary team to provide care to the residents; updates on changes in the residents’ condition and needs.
• Ensure care delivery and nursing interventions as outlined in the care plan.
• Work with allied health professionals and/or initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
• Carry out and supervise assessments of all new admissions.
• Prepare clinical documentation and ensure all documentations are current.
• Prepare and administer medications to residents and comply with safe medication practices.
• Supervise staff to ensure safe medication practice.
• Participate in training and development of staff.
• Work with Supervisor to conduct quality assurance activities to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
• Deal with emergency that arises and ensure prompt actions to mitigate the situation. Escalate promptly to supervisor, where necessary.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse with at least 1 year relevant working experience is preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Knowledge in Nhelp Account and Timesoft will be advantage.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork and passion for serving the elderly patients.
• Able to work cohesively with colleagues from all disciplines
• Able to work 3 rotating shifts including weekend duties and public holidays (for in-patient wards)

PROFESSIONAL LICENCE

• Must be Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified
