During your internship you will be exposed to and gain an understanding of everything in the colourful world of HR that ranges from HR Operations, fun Employee Engagement projects, Reward, Benefits and Payroll. You will partner very closely and support the HR Manager in maintaining quality HR services across the business.

Your responsibilities may span the following areas:

Wellness Programmes & Communications

• Plan & deliver meaningful activities to promote overall employee wellbeing, championing dynamic employee involvement
• Review and improve existing communication channels & mode
• Design & broadcast EDMs/artwork for internal Company/HR announcements
• Own & coordinate Staff Welfare matters, i.e. LSA, Marriage, New Born, Hospitalization & Bereavement
• Run HR-driven company events & projects such as Healthy Week/Month, DEI, CSR efforts etc.

Employee Lifecycle

• Overseeing end-to-end Onboarding, Offboarding and relevant HR documentation for new joiners & leavers, including but not limited to communications, activation of Sterling Backcheck & pre-employment medical check etc.
• Maintain & upkeep eFiles & pFiles
• Own & update corporate DLs timely
• Generate Employee Letters as needed/requested, i.e. Letter of Employment, Visa Applications, PR Applications etc.

Invoice & Billing Matters

• Vendor & PO creation
• Invoice processing
• Validating & processing 3rd party contractors’ invoices

Other Ad-Hoc:

• Collaborate closely with HRM/HRC on HR Analytics efforts for data collection and analysis; for example: research, gather and translate HR industry data/trends and insights for application to the business
• Own and manage the monthly HR Events Calendar and initiate meetings to brainstorm and plan for upcoming events & projects
• Extend support to wider HR team, when required & directed by HRM/HRC

You will develop and drive people strategies for Singapore and SEA, covering multiple businesses including TVD, UPI, Networks & DTC and other businesses on site. You will partner closely with key executives to cultivate an inclusive, positive and productive workplace culture; identify, develop and retain talents; create and implement local employee experiences and learning & development initiatives. You will develop and maintain a strong relationship with partners in talent acquisition, executive search, compensation & benefits, employment law, etc. to drive high quality HR services delivery to business. You will also serve as HR community leader in Singapore and role model and advocate for “one team” spirit.

You will report to Vice President, Human Resources APAC and partner closely with broader HR community as well as business leaders in Singapore and SEA.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategies

• Partnering with senior leaderships teams to develop key people strategies and objectives for the organization, ensuring that the HR initiatives and programs are clearly aligned with business priorities.
• Participate in and be a thoughtful contributor at key senior management meetings and provide HR input for strategic business projects and long-term planning and budgeting processes.

Talent

• Partner with TA team to ensure timely supply of quality talents to meet business needs.
• Play a leading role in key HR processes including talent review, compensation, performance management, talent planning etc.
• Help to identify learning needs, leveraging internal and external resources to deliver learning programs to support development.
• Provide advice to business leaders, managers and employees on all matters related to employee and organizational development.
• Ensure the delivery of corporate training initiatives.
• Partner/collaborate with HR colleagues across NBCUniversal to drive projects and bring initiatives to fruition.

Change Leadership

• Lead organizational change management process in response to business strategies.
• Where required manage HR due diligence and transaction support for M&A or divestment activity, including integration and change management

Employee Relations and Experiences

• Provide HR leadership and coaching to employees and managers regarding employee relations issues. Ensure prompt and effective management of employee relations issues and grievances.
• Offer guidance and counseling to employees and managers concerning work-related issues and work to resolve issues in a proactive and positive manner.
• Manage and communicate HR policies; develop and implement HR practices and procedures aligned to meet the needs of the business. Ensure compliance with relevant local laws.
• Work with leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive work environment which encourages the full use of the organization’s diverse talents and abilities.
• Create and execute on Employee Survey action plans and engagement and communications activities.
• Ensure HR operational excellence in data management, HR systems, payroll coordination, on-boarding, off-boarding etc. to enable a desired employee experience.

HR Team

• Provide leadership and oversight of daily activities of local HR team.
• Provide coaching and guidance to develop HR team’s capabilities.

This is a fixed-term contract position for 12 months. Based in the Singapore office, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will report directly to the Manager Talent Acquisition, APAC. This is an exciting opportunity to support the APAC talent acquisition team in securing top diverse talent for our world leading media and entertainment companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extensive interview scheduling both onsite and virtual across the region, coordinating the appropriate resources required.
• Provides support in setting up assessments.
• Engages and builds strong relationships quickly with both Hiring Managers and Candidates helping to ensure an excellent hiring experience for all parties.
• Update requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System (currently SmartRecruiters) as required.
• Screens and download resumes from different external job portals and upload to the Application Tracking System.
• Provides support with configuring and posting job adverts.
• Works closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager and Global Talent Branding team in curating and updating social media posts.
• Communicate with Hiring Managers and new hires to ensure smooth onboarding process.
• Support to prepare PowerPoint presentations and reports for Talent Acquisition team.
• Processing candidate expenses as required.
• Prepare purchase order and processing on SAP system.
• Help to setup and attend meetings and events as needed.
• Support projects as required including: candidate experience; DEI and branding.
• As time allows support with: Interns onboarding; Early Career events; Assessment Centre coordination – scheduling, planning and conducting alongside the Early Career Programme Manager.
