Responsibilities:
- Support recruitment not limited to design & job postings, interview scheduling, interview screening, reference checks, plan & propose remuneration packages align with market trending and government guidelines.
- Prepare onboarding documents, coordinate onboarding, and announcements.
- Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions.
- Handle work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations.
- Manage off-boarding, including resignation letters and exit processes.
- Coordinate training programs, track completion, and handle funding applications.
- Assist in performance appraisals and employee communications.
- Coordinate with Operations Department in project executions, including fulfilling manpower requirements, site registrations.
- Implement HR-related programmes and policies, apply for HR-related certifications and grants, establish internships and industrial attachments with educational institutions, participate in recruitment fairs and organise Company events.
- Ensure procedures, products and services rendered comply to Company policies, government regulations and ISO standards.
- Maintain historical records for annual accounting and ISO audits.
- Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities when required or as instructed.
- Maintains compliance with local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance with local employment laws.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Requirements:
- Able to support project recruitment drive conduct on Saturdays
- Minimum Diploma in Human Resources, or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in the area of Human Resources
- Good knowledge and interpretation of the employment Act and government regulations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with highly sensitive data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
