Responsibilities
- Lead and Provide in-house IT support with a focus on Oracle and related systems for HR modules.
- Oversee integration with external systems where required.
- Responsible for working on the implementation/rollout of Projects in support of HR systems.
- Support the updates and implementation of HR Modules
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and perform regular assessments to refine the system design.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve issues and improve system efficiency.
- Handle technical design and development updates with Oracle consultants.
- Develop and customize where required self-service pages.
- Handle System Setup, troubleshooting and related documentation and User Testing for new implementation/upgrades where applicable.
- Follow up on outstanding issues proactively and actions/plans to resolve issues.
- Responsible for team delivery and development of project plans with supporting budgets and resource allocations
- Improve requests and project management processes.
- Oversee the management and implementation of projects, ensuring time, quality, security, and budget goals are met.
- Hire, develop, lead, coach, and mentor a diverse technical team capable of delivering products and services using current, new, and emerging technology. Ensure that the team is cohesive and aligned toward common goals.
- Prepare requirement specifications (functional and non-functional), use cases, and business process recommendations.
- Perform configurations and customization in the system and updates relevant documentation as per user’s requirement and process.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee vendor activities.
- Ensure compliance for SOX and all Audit requirements globally.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Masters in Science or MBA is a plus
- More than 8 years of relevant Oracle HR Application linked to various Oracle modules like Core HR, Employee Self-Service, Time and Labor, Recruitment, Workforce planning, Performance and Talent Management.
- In depth understanding of data structure of different HR module
- Experience in all phases of system implementation lifecycle (requirements gathering, design and build, testing, go-live and maintenance)
- Experience in cloud technology and mobile applications.
- Strong vendor management skills, including overseeing vendor relationships and activities.
- Good project management skills.
- A very strong leader with a good track record in managing and leading successfully in a matrix environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, project management skills and good with financial numbers
- Able to interact effectively at all levels of the organization within a highly matrix organization.
- Proven track record in managing a team.
- Resourceful, organized and attention to detail in leading the team and managing of external stakeholders
