My client is a fast-expanding leader in the F&B FMCG space, looking to grow the team in the SEA region.

To support its growth, the team is looking for a Corporate Development Associate to support business decision-making and corporate planning.

Your new role

The Corporate Development Associate will play a critical role in providing support for business stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. This role will involve corporate & business planning, strategic analysis, with a focus on expanding the regional growth of the brand. Here's a snippet of the JD:

• Developing and implementing long-term strategies to achieve the company's business objectives.
• Conducting industry and market research, competitive analysis to come up with strategies for execution.
• Stakeholder liaison with regional teams and external stakeholders to drive expansion.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for an FP&A or Corporate Development candidate with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar function within the FMCG or B2B consumer goods industry. You would stand out if you are good with numbers, have an entrepreneurial spirit and have strong business acumen. You should also possess a degree in Business Management/Finance/Accounting and/or equivalent qualifications.

Provide marketing support to the Marketing Department and Restaurants

Plan and coordinate the conceptualization and implementation of marketing plans (eg. sponsorship, media relations, marketing communications, direct marketing, website, public relations agencies, events and activities)

Develop and coordinate field marketing and activities collateral

Manage all marketing resources, advertising, and promotion materials

Manage local area marketing activities and collaterals with all restaurants

Oversee the brands’ social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook), monitor performance, and propose strategies to optimise for growth.

Daily monitoring of social media platforms, customer reviews and feedbacks

Maintain and update store information on digital platforms (eg. Google, GrabFood, foodpanda, etc.)

Liaise with tenants and external organizations for joint partnerships & promotions

Build and maintain good network and working relationships with customers, suppliers, agencies, and regulatory authorities

Preparation of marketing reports & presentations

Attend to other ad-hoc marketing activities as assigned

Other requirements / qualities / skills required for the job:

Meticulous in work, tactful & ability to interact with different levels of people

Good time management to meet up with deadlines

Well-versed with computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Photoshop

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business, Marketing/Mass Communications or equivalent.

Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Marketing or equivalent.

Minimum one (1) year of working experience in the Marketing field
