Responsibilities:
-Develop CAD/CAM programs for mold bases, repair/modification projects, machining tasks, and gun-drilling operations.
-Create new NC programs and tool lists using UG CAD/CAM software.
-Execute 3D and multi-axis programming.
-Manage workshop scheduling, including machine and worker allocation.
-Communicate with suppliers and customers when required.
-Assist with CNC machine setup and operations as needed.
-Revise drawings based on client feedback.
-Modify existing programs to enhance efficiency.
-Analyze and select appropriate speeds, feeds, RPMs, and cutting tools.
-Design fixtures for machining activities.
-Undertake any other ad-hoc projects or duties assigned by the supervisor.
Competency Requirements:
-Possess Professional Certificate, NITEC, or Diploma.
-Minimum of 4 years of experience in UG-NX programming.
-Preferably more than 4 years of experience in the mold-making industry.
-Strong knowledge of machining processes.
-Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Products(PPT, Excel).
-Expertise in Unigraphics (UG) software is essential.
-Effective team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Capable of working independently.
-Able to start work on short notice.
