• Manage and update SOP and implement remedial actions within the Claims Department to ensure compliance with internal claims SOP, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Manage all tasks related to life claims administration, such as processing daily manual claims
• Assist in creating, maintaining, and updating accurate records of life claims in the claim register.
• Identify control issues that deviate from established operational procedures and guidelines.
• Follow up on requests for medical reports and other supporting documents with medical providers, policyholders, and agents.
• Perform data entry and maintain organized filing and documentation of life claim documents/files.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to financial, operational, and compliance objectives.
• Conduct daily/monthly quality assurance checks on claims processing to meet KPIs and claims SOP, implementing corrective and preventive measures as necessary.

To qualify for the role, you should have:

• At least 2 years of experience in relavant claims admin role in the insurance sector

• Acquire new clients through business development/cold calling
• Source, screen, interview and shortlist potential candidates to match with the client requirements
• Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with clients and candidates

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of proven track records in recruitment, sales, business development or similar experience
• Good understanding of sourcing and recruiting process

Position Title : Account Officer ( Payroll)

• Location: (Buona Vista)
• Working Days: 5 days (Monday- Friday)

Job Responsibilities :

Payroll and related processes

• Record approved leave with supporting records in system and follow up with staff as required following the policies and direction of the Principal
• Check against employment contract and update bank account details for new joins
• Update changes in monthly salary with supporting documents
• Prepare tax clearance for Expat staff who resigned
• Process staff benefits claims and report as taxable benefits accordingly
• Process monthly Payroll punctually using payroll system through salary crediting (to gather all the necessary information such as changes in salary/workload, new join, resignations, deductions, benefit adjustment, etc)
• Process cheque payment for resigned staff’s last pay
• Process monthly CPF report for submission
• Claim for leave supported by government (maternity, paternity, NSmen, childcare, etc)

• Application of grants details from government e.g. SEC, JGI, JSS to ascertain the accuracy of the amount received

• Recover from ACS foundation quarterly, payroll and others processed on behalf
• Prepare yearly IR8A for online submission
• Support Finance Manager in preparing the yearly payroll budget and period review
• Maintain the payroll system with support from the vendor
• Support the purchase of workmen compensation, professional liability, etc for staff
• Support all other areas requiring related to staff salaries

Automation and Digitalization of payroll system

• Work with Project team to draw up framework of automation and digitalization for payroll and related processes and set up new/additional “outside the system” during transition period where necessary
• Participate in the assessment of current or new payroll system towards automation and digitalization
• Owner of the new/additional automation workflows post project.

Any other duties as assigned by the Chairman, Senior Leaders Team and Reporting Officer.

Qualifications

• At Least, Certification in Payroll and/or Accounting

Experience and Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in handling Payroll.
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Payroll systems and Microsoft.
• Basic Accounting knowledge would be highly desirable but not essential.
