Job Description:
This role requires to achieve budgets for their Allocated Territory by generating opportunities both from existing & new accounts for Contract Logistics.
Responsibilities:
· Provide budgets for GP services in the assigned region
· Develop a strategic approach to achieve personal and group success
· Identify and establish relationships with clients within the region, particularly those who fit our preferred client criteria
· Engage with the client base and important stakeholders, both internal and external
· Meet the set FaceTime targets for the region, including visits, phone calls, and direct mail, for both new prospects and current customers
· Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities that exceed the region's budgets/hit rates
· Act promptly on and record opportunities generated in the CRM system
· Stay up to date with new sailings, routes, and solutions in the market to provide valuable solutions for their supply chains
· Document and share relevant client information within the company
· Handle customer inquiries and complaints
· Use GSP tools as directed
· Collaborate with sales colleagues and other related functions to maximize sales potential and achieve the overall business goals of the organization.
Requirements:
· Must have at least 4 years of experience in sales, with a documented sales record in Contract Logistics
· Knowledge and experience in sales within the international transportation and logistics industry
· Familiarity with the financial aspects of the local economy, as well as knowledge of international market conditions and trends, and international business issues, such as currency factors and cultural differences
· Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant software
· Fluent in the local language and comfortable communicating in English and other languages required for managing customer and other contacts
· Proficient in presentation techniques and comfortable with presenting to groups of 2-3 people.
