1st October 2015, to be the collaborative partner in 3D printing technology creation

and innovation through working with different industries, agencies and institutions to

manufacturing to increase Singapore"s global manufacturing competitiveness.

The JAGC program is a collaboration between MiRXES and GIS (together with other public research institutions) to build a new high-throughput NGS platform to empower population-scale genome sequencing, high-resolution single cell genomics, large-scale epigenomics, as well as clinical genomics. We are searching for a talented and well-organised Programme Manager (PM) to join us at the Genome Institute of Singapore to play a leadership role in executing and managing this public-private partnership program. The PM will work with the Principal Investigators to initiate and coordinate key processes of the program, manage key stakeholders (internal and external, across hospitals, research institutions and industry), as well as lead administrative tasks (including facilitating meetings, managing agreements, generating reports and budgeting).

Job Description

· Project Planning: Develop project plan, define scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with research problem statement.

· Project Execution: Oversee different workstreams across the project, ensuring adherence to timelines, milestones, overall project objective and budget. Routinely review the progress of the project with the internal scientific team and industry or academic collaborators.

· Cross-functional coordination: Manage and coordinate the project team consisting of the lead principal investigator/technical lead and research officers. Coach scientists on translating research findings to industry needs. Maintain close communication with:

I. Business Development team to ensure relevance to industry needs

II. Corporate strategy team to maintain project relevance to SIFBI?s research focus areas

III. Resource Management team for optimal budget utilization

· Project strategy: Comprehend the project technicalities to formulate the IP strategy, application opportunities and commercialization strategy collaboratively with the scientific team. Innovate concepts and identify opportunities to transfer the platform technology to industry or the ecosystem; present these ideas to potential industry partners.

· Risk management: Conduct project risk assessment and develop mitigation strategies to minimise potential project disruptions or deviations. Exercise judgement to escalate risks when necessary.

Job Requirements

· A minimum of 5 years of experience in the R&D sector of the food, nutrition, and/or consumer care industry, with a preference for candidates with project management experience.

Job Description

1. Create and maintain SAP master data for grants and funds (e.g. fund, cost centre, WBS) for A*STAR research and supporting entities timely upon request from stakeholders.

2. Check supporting documents provided to ensure information contained is complete and in accordance with the overall data schema.

3. Liaise with stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies.

4. Perform closing of project codes timely as per SOP, and any re-opening as required to facilitate operations.

5. Perform regular checks on newly created master data, flag exceptions for follow-up and resolution.

6. Ensure grants documentations are well organised and maintained (e.g. Letter of Awards, variation approvals).

7. Perform month end module closure in SAP.
