Requirements:

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Engineering role

· Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or related discipline (essential)

· Higher degree qualifications are desirable.

· Demonstrated engineering competencies required for qualification to INCOSE CSEP (or equivalent, or ASEP) are highly desirable.

· Able to decipher technical scope from high level requirements

As a Senior System Integrator (IVVQ), you will be equipped with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

· Guarantee the technical solution for infrastructure & deployment

We are looking for an IT Infra System Engineer with to produce detailed design and Integrate IT system within the Railway domain.

Responsibilities

· Support in designing IT System hardware: Racks, Servers (Memory, CPU,…) , Storage, Workstations, Access Switches,

· Support in IT integration of sub-systems

· Support in defining and configuring IT System software: OS, VM, COTS, IP parameters, apply hardening procedures

· Perform verification and validation of the system, security and software patches at the Integration Validation Verification Qualification (IVVQ) platform and Production platform

· Perform scheduled system and security patching, and software deployment that includes the administration, configuration management and software upgrades

· Troubleshoot and isolate defects, including defects caused by failure of hardware, operating system, system software (e.g. Kubernetes) or any Authority Furnished Equipment (AFE) that is interfaced to the system

· Rectify defects related to the software or operating system. In cases where the defects cannot be rectified, to propose and implement a workaround for the software or system to mitigate the impact of the defect

· Identify and liaise with the original equipment vendor, or other Authority’s maintenance contractors to remedy the defect in the software of the system
