Job Description

Reporting to the Managing Director, main responsibilities will be to drive programs to innovation, foster strong vendor relationships, and elevate the organisation’s procurement strategy.

Your other responsibilities include:

• Design and execute the organization’s procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Implement best-in-class practices and lead high-value strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize efficiency.
• Identifying, evaluating vendors, recommend top-performing partners to strengthen the supply chain.
• Oversee procurement processes to ensure compliance with policies, establish and monitor KPIs to measure success, and negotiate competitive costs for supplies and services.
• Manage budgets, track contractor performance, and support audits while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Building and mentoring the team, as welling as provide expert guidance to meet the needs of business units and foster a culture of excellence.

The Successful Applicant

You should possess a degree qualification in a business or equivalent preferred. You must have minimum 10 years of work-related experience in F&B procurement or purchasing is highly advantageous. Proficiency in SAP Material Management Modules. Demonstrates energy, gravitas and determination in the implementation of projects and initiatives. You should also have good interpersonal skills engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Description

Your major responsibilities will involve managing all Direct categories in your portfolio mainly within the technology and manufacturing space. This is a strategic leadership and management position with a global portfolio.

Your other responsibilities include:

• Develop a high performing team within the Procurement function
• Full strategic responsibility of Technology and Manufacturing spends across all Direct categories
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders in R&D, Product Development, Operations and Finance as a basis for setting the right strategic Procurement directions
• Responsible to create and maintain long term commodity strategies based on product requirements and technology roadmaps
• Accountable for delivering both cost reduction and budget efficiency in line with functional targets
• Build and maintain strong collaboration with the Upstream and Downsteam Procurement teams to optimise best cost-performance decisions
• Manage supplier relationships and effectively drive a collaborative partnership.

The Successful Applicant

You should possess a degree in Engineering (any field) and you must have a significant years of experience in Strategic Procurement in Technology and Manufacturing as well as people management. You should also be strong with analytics as well as be sensitive to trends. Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and collaborative environment is essential.
