What you will be working on

• Design, Build, Secure and Operate emerging mainframe technologies and processes.
• Manage service level of mainframe systems and tracking problem management on mainframe issue.
• Perform review of system changes, processes, and routine system monitoring.
• Monitor emerging technology trends as it relates to the mainframe computing environment and recommends adoption of new technologies/methodologies when appropriate.
• 24 x 7 standby support.

What we are looking for

• Extensive hands-on experience and knowledge of z/OS, System/Storage management and tools.
• Minimum 6 years’ working experience in mainframe infrastructure administration specialising in z/OS, CICS, Mainframe network; or in two or more of the following software or systems:

a. Operations Software (e.g., IBM Systems Automation, Netview, IBM Workload Scheduler, IBM Engineering Workflow Management)

b. Enterprise Storage & related software (e.g., Metro-Mirror, Flash Copy, Safe-Guarded Copy, SKLM, EMC TimeFinder, SRDF, Luminex VTL, RMM)

c. Communication and Monitoring Software (TCPIP, VTAM, zSecure Suite, Omegamon Suite)

d. Middleware Software (CICS, CICS Liberty, MQ Series)

• Install, configure, and maintain z/OS and other system software.
• Practical experience in IBM System Automation and IBM Work Scheduler will be advantageous.
• Experience in supporting disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Good to have programming experience in REXX
• Proven strong analytical skills, including demonstrated experience identifying and quantifying problems and providing effective resolutions.
• Good decision-making skills when dealing with multiple alternatives is required.

• To be responsible for the operating systems and ensure ongoing security and resiliency of the infrastructure
• To manage, configure and maintain all installed systems and infrastructure

The successful candidate will support the Service Monitoring Unit of the Customer Correspondence Unit (CCU) and responsible for managing, analysing data related to customer correspondence, as well as preparing reports and presentations to support CCU's operations.

What you will be working on

• Compile, monitor, and analyse statistics related to the Customer Correspondence Unit (CCU), including the productivity and performance of officers. Present findings through various data visualization formats for comprehensive reporting.
• Dive into data to derive insights on trending topics and issues in operations and perform forecasting to better manage resources and case load.
• Provide assistance to projects leveraging data to gather customer insights and enhance the overall customer experience. Effectively communicate analysis outcomes and key concepts through engaging presentations.
• Support the preparation of presentation decks for internal and external stakeholders to showcase the work/projects under CCU.
• Support operational functions that span across the department or various CCU teams, such as standardising scheme and category tagging across different Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRMS) from various outfits.

What you will be working on

As a System Operation Support Engineer (Windows platform) with expertise on Active Directory, you are responsible for supporting critical business applications in a fast-pace, agile environment. This role requires you to be hands-on in Windows and Active Directory for planning, designing, implementation, administering, scripting, monitoring, and carrying out required changes to complete tasks/projects including to resolve incidents/problems.

The broad area of your responsibilities will include the followings:

• Plan, install, configure, and administer Windows systems in physical and virtual environment
• Plan, design, implement and administer Active Directory & DNS and related systems
• Serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting and issue resolution with regards to multi forest Active Directory systems and other Windows systems
• Implement, monitor, and maintain AD design, schema, OUs, replication topologies, group policies and DC backup & restore procedures
• PowerShell scripting and automation
• Work with other teams in AD Integration for a multiple forest Active Directory infrastructure
• Monitor critical systems and take corrective actions prior to failures
• Troubleshoot software or hardware failures to arrive at the root cause
• Perform regular system patching and upgrades to improve system posture
• Design solutions to technical problems and implementation of new systems or infrastructure changes
• Prepare written documentation and develop operating procedures for systems
• Participate in regular deployments of code updates activities

What we are looking for

• At least 4 years of relevant work experience in Windows and Active Directory systems
• Practical experience in OS hardening and performance tuning
• Technically competent in 5 or more of the following languages, tools and technologies:
  i. AD/ DNS/ ADFS/ RDS configuration, administration, and monitoring include migration and upgrade
  ii. PKI system
  iii. Azure/ AWS Administration and Azure AD & AD connect
  iv. Microsoft PowerShell scripting and other configuration management tools
  v. Security methodologies such as JEA, JIT and delegation models
  vi. Configuration Manager (SCCM) for deployment of OS and software, automatic patch deployment, asset and compliance management, etc
  vii. Virtualization management and troubleshooting
  viii. Network protocols such as TCP/IP, SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, NTP, SNMP etc
• Professional certification in Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or ITIL would be preferred
• Self-motivated team player who demonstrates initiative and possesses strong analytical skill
