Position Summary

Besides being responsible for leading a team of application developers/engineers in software design and development, testing, and implementation, the candidate would also need to abide closing to the agreed planned timeline/incident and problem resolution response/ service level agreement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of Java, J2EE Software Programming skills
• Experience in AWS technologies, API Gateway would be added advantage
• ·Analytical with strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• ·Ability to work under pressure and to handle tight timelines

Job description

Our esteemed client is looking for a Application Support Engineer to help with the following key responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve application-related issues within SLA
• Collaborate with others including developers and the infrastructure team to resolve complex issues and to implement long-term solutions
• Report status and progress of open incident tickets to technical lead on a regular basis
• Participate in enhancement of the applications (including documentation and testing)
• Support annual industry testing, regulatory requirements testing, in test and production environments
• Perform standby duty (24x7) on rotational basis

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of Java, J2EE Software Programming skills
• Basic understanding of Solaris and/or Linux OS such as RHEL is required
• ·Analytical with strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environment
