The Role:

In this position, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing deliveries within the data center. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular audits of equipment to ensure compliance with inventory controls and managing the movement of equipment using pallet jacks or other assisted lifting devices. Working within a ticket-based environment, you will also handle the secure destruction of data-bearing devices, such as hard drives and solid-state drives.

Additionally, you will oversee material movement, including shipping and receiving, while managing inventory. Your role will involve tactical management tasks during your shift, such as prioritizing ticket queues, resolving escalations, and addressing issues to ensure the seamless delivery of inventory and asset activities in line with Microsoft's internal policies and service level agreements. Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays, is essential.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have at least six months of experience in inventory control, logistics, or warehouse management. You should be capable of frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights, with or without equipment assistance. Effective communication skills are vital, as you will need to communicate clearly in both written and oral English to support regional and global teams. A strong desire to learn and develop new technical skills is also important for success in this role. Candidates with a diploma or degree in IT or Computer Engineering, along with a year of experience in IT support and monitoring, will be preferred, although fresh graduates with a positive attitude will also be considered.

The Role:

· Support the deployment of physical infrastructure within the data center.

· Install, replace, and troubleshoot cables and hardware.

· Handle data-bearing devices (e.g., hard drives, solid-state drives).

· Operate within a ticket-based support environment.

· Move equipment using pallet jacks or other assisted lifting devices.

· Assist the Data Centre Inventory and Asset Management Team (DIAT) with shipping, receiving, and inventory management, especially during high-volume periods.

· Flexibility to work non-standard business hours, including weekends and holidays.

Ideal Candidate:

Education / Experience:

· Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

· Minimum 1 year of experience in IT Support & Monitoring (Fresh graduates with a positive attitude are welcome to apply).

Skill Sets:

· Basic understanding of computer hardware and components.

· At least 6 months of experience handling or maintaining technical equipment or machinery.

· 1+ years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technologies.

· Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Server+, or Network+, and Basic Structure Cabling (BSC) are a plus.

· Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights, with or without equipment assistance.

· Effective communication skills.

· Proficiency in written and oral English to support regional and global teams.

· A strong desire to learn, grow, and develop new technical skills.
