We are seeking a skilled Lead Executive in Financial Reporting to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a range of financial reporting tasks, including, and not limited to, day-to-day budget operations, month-end and year-end closing activities, budget utilisation, accounts reconciliation, and audit schedule review. Additionally, this role involves business partnering with various Schools and Department and preparing financials to management.

Responsibilities: -

· Manage daily budget operations

· Liaise with internal and/or external stakeholders on budget operation matters and financial reporting

· Prepare statutory submissions or attend to requests from government agencies as necessary

· Prepare financial and management reports

· Possess analytical skills and able to problem solve work issues across functional areas independently

Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements

· Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with policies, and accounting standards.

· Undertake other ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements: -

· Qualification in Accountancy or its related disciplines, with at least 6 years of relevant experience in financial and/or management reporting

· Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams

· Good written and oral communication skills

· Good analytical and critical thinking abilities

· Independent team player who is organised, confident and adaptable to changing environment

· Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Experience with Workday system would be advantageous

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Process margin calls and interest.
• Process trades done by Investment Office.
• Process capital calls / distributions and reconcile the unfunded commitments of Limited Partnerships.
• Liaise with custodian to ensure trades are correctly posted.
• Download fund / bank / custodian statements and reports.
• Assist with daily reconciliations of cash, FX and stock positions.
• E-file and maintain records of transactions.
• Assist in Treasury initiatives and projects.
• Any other ad hoc task assigned by reporting manager

Requirements

• Degree in Banking, Finance or accounting
• 2-3 years investment / fund operations experience.
• Familiar with SAP, banks and custodian systems.
• Proficient Microsoft Office user.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure compliance to revenue policies and regulations
• Manage risk profile of collections
• Formulate governance policy for customer master.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong leadership.
• Strong interest in data management, RPA and data analytics.
• Familiar with BI tools (eg. Qliksense, Power BI, Tableau, RPA) has an added advantage.

• The Executive is responsible for environment scanning, development, execution and monitoring of engagement and communication strategy to build strong and sustainable professional relationships with General Practitioners (GPs), primary care physicians and polyclinics.
• Responsible for operational support and continuous improvement of assigned operating unit(s)/ area(s), service or programme in the partnerships arm of the Division of Central Health.
• The Executive will support initiatives, projects, services development in Community Service, ensuring that all relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.

Job Requirements:

• Good Bachelor's Degree in any field;
• Minimum 2 years of work experience, preferably in area of community or stakeholder engagement; Experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Demonstrate strong systems thinking, team work, project management and presentation skills;
• Good interpersonal, persuasive negotiation, communication skills to manage internal stakeholders and community partners;
• Self-motivated and resilient
