Job Description

• Good co-ordination skills and good technical knowledge of M&E systems/ equipment, including security systems
• To carry out regular site supervision and inspection of the works/materials including any off-site production as instructed by the consultant team so as to ensure that mechanical and electrical works, including security systems, are constructed to required quality, accuracy and workmanship
• To monitor work in progress in accordance to Approved Master Schedules with breakdown to Monthly, Weekly and Daily programmes
• To assist the RE on daily, weekly and monthly reports of site progress as per contractor’s approved program, activities, issues and resolutions
• To check and verify reports, variations and progress claims submitted by contractors, including as built quantity for the variations
• To undertake any other duties related to the project as and when instructed by the SO and RE.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
• Registered with IES/ ACES as a Resident Technical
• Minimum 5 years of M&E work experience with strong knowledge of local construction practices air-conditioning, electrical, fire protection, security systems, BMS, plumbing, sanitary and gas services
• Working location will be at Sentosa

• Reports to Shift Engineer on all system-related issues.
• Ensures that the system is operating normally.
• Monitors the system for faults and any other faults in the flow of airport baggage.
• Oversees the technicians in the discharge of their duties.
• Ensures prompt response to all faults by immediately despatching technicians to attend to the faults.
• Ensures prompt diversion of baggage during breakdowns.  This is to ensure that the flow of baggage remains uninterrupted.
• Provides prompt information to Shift Engineer on all system-related faults and provides regular status updates.
• Ensures proper despatch of personnel to ensure prompt breakdown recovery.
• Ensures that the PM Schedule is completed as scheduled.
• Provides support to Shift Engineer during system troubleshooting/updates.
• Assist management in report submission.
• Assist management in data analysis and statistics.

What you'll do:

• To provide quality and compliance supervision for the construction of Civil works, such as drainage, roads, sewage works in accordance with the Project specifications and drawings
• Assist Superintending Officer in daily close supervision and coordination duties
• Inspect and supervise Contractors’ works and tests to Approved Drawings and Specifications
• Keep quality records of all works, monitor and report on work progress
• Responsible for the consistency of quality assurance inspections and testing for works
• Implement quality assurance plan in a well-coordinated manner
• Coordinate with Contractors, Stakeholders, Authorities, Interfacing Contractors and the like on execution of works
• Assist the Engineer(s) in supervision, inspection and quality control of construction work on site ensuring it is carried out to the approved drawings and specifications

The technical delivery team is responsible for the deployment of Opus 2’s services to hearing room locations. This will include the planning/preparation of the equipment needed for the hearing/service, the logistical deployment of the service, the configuration and setup, the support of the service, the breakdown and removal of equipment.

This client facing position has large client base which means it is essential to both integrate and work with our clients as closely as possible. The team provides other technical services:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Consultation - work with the case managers and operational teams on dealing with technical support/issues.
• Innovation - assisting and developing new ways in which Opus 2 engage/interact with the clients for provisioning our services.
• Processes - working closely with the case managers to ensure that installations are carried out within the specified timeframe and guidelines.
• Provide feedback to the technical delivery team regarding specific installations and client issues onsite.
• Ensure that all processes are followed and quality control the technical delivery teams’ installations.
• Consultation - designing technical audio/video/network solutions for the hearing room.
• Operating bespoke court reporting software and being able to provide support.
• Provide technical standby support (onsite and offsite) for all hearing venues as directed by your manager.
• Other administrative duties as required.

The Technical Delivery Officer will be the flexible member to the team who is willing to work remotely to deploy our services. They will be used on various remote project work so flexibility is an important part of the role and travel will occur on a regular basis. Typical working hours are from 9:00am – 6:00pm. Description

• Lead and manage Mechanical design coordination and interfacing with other designers/disciplines/contractors/specialists.
• Lead in Mechanical services coordination i.e., CSD/SEM and CCSM.
• Involve in Coordinated Installation Programme (CIP) coordination with other designers/disciplines/contractors/specialists.
• Conduct coordination meeting with all MEP trade sub-contractors.
• Liaise with relevant authorities for MEP services.
• Monitor all MEP trade sub-con on-site work and workforce according to the construction schedule.
• Co-ordination with M&E subcontractors on their works.
• Supervision of all MEP works carried out by MEP subcontractors.
• Ensure MEP works installations are carried out according to approved drawings and plans and check qualities of workmanship.
• Prepare design drawings and documentation.
• Plan all drawings request to meet the submission deadline.
• Draft plans and detailed drawings for MEP installations from sketches or notes.
