Position Summary:

The Technical Project Manager, or known as Engineering Delivery Manager within Thales, is responsible for leading his team to the completion of engineering tasks within committed budgets, schedules, quality and performance for successful bids and projects delivery. He coordinates and monitors the implementation of all engineering tasks throughout the whole life cycle of a bid/project.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure engineering activities are well managed within constraints of bids/projects, approved architecture, design policy, contracts, and company quality requirements.

· Lead collaborative discussion and co-engineering between internal teams, vendors and customers to analyse, prioritise and validate stakeholders' requirements.

· Perform periodic reporting to internal senior management and customer according to Thales methodology (Chorus) and common methods such as SAFe/SCRUM.

Essential Requirements:

· Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or related discipline

· Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Senior Engineering role

· Experience in IT/security/C2/defence relatedprojects from a Systems Engineering perspective

Purpose of the Job

  • Design and Introduction of (new) IT Service in line with expected Group/AET capabilities and benefits to be delivered

Key Accountabilities

• AET IT Services – Primary/Main Representative
• Champion the endorsed Group/AET IT service culture
• Ensure alignment of IT Service Delivery and Support solutions to AET’s business needs and IT requirements
• Assist in SLA negotiation efforts with AET business departments/functions
• Provide oversight to AET IT Service Owners
• Direct and oversee the maintenance of AET’s IT Services Catalogue

Job Description

· Support and manage development of Cellular Modem systems and products.

· Monitor the results and quality of the different software ROMs and technical features implemented.
