JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Role Overview

To assist in technical investigations in case of fault calls and regularly review the preventive and corrective maintenance activities for property in the aviation sector. He / She should be a competent problem solver on the ground, possessing strong technical knowledge in building and M&E maintenance and ability to liaise with service providers to ensure maintenance or repair works are carried out timely.

Role Responsibilities

• To review preventive and corrective maintenance works to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards and regulations
• To lead technical investigations in response to fault calls
• To review documentation on procedure and schedules of maintenance works
• To track inventory levels of spare parts, consumables and non-consumable items
• To prepare technical reports and / or monthly reports where required
• To conduct risk assessments in accordance to regulatory and organisational Workplace Safety and Health(WSH) policies and practices
• Responsible for initiating and tracking all purchase requisitions and closing of work orders, including thepreparation of costing for all proposed works to his supervisors for approval and liaison with client reps.
• Liaising with term and adhoc contractors for all appointed works and coordinating with relevantstakeholders for approval and work executions, including reporting work progress and completion.
• Reporting to the Engineer and appointed reporting supervisor for any adhoc work matters.

What You'll Do:

1. Carry out comprehensive predictive and preventive maintenance on 400kV & 230kV network equipment that includes building, switchgear, transformers, reactors, cables and their auxiliaries
2. Supervise contractors in network equipment retrofitting, overhauling, maintenance and repair work
3. Responsible for safe and efficient operations at worksites
4. Supervise and train Technicians
5. Assist in planning, preparation of cost estimates and coordinating of major cable diversion work, equipment and cable fault repair work
6. Assist in 230kV and 400kV switching operations and isolation works
7. Calling quotations for adhoc purchase and assist in preparing tender specifications
8. Collect statistics, prepare reports / letters and update database
9. Attend to 230 / 400kV alarms and faults during and after office hours

1. Electrical Engineering or related Diploma from a recognised Polytechnics in Singapore.
2. A team player with good working attitude and basic computer knowledge.
