What we seek to accomplish together:

• Perform shift duty to support 24x7 DC Operations stand-by duties for emergency.
• Assist to oversee the IT equipment hardware inventory on individual rack inside the DC
• On-site Management of works conducted within the Data Centre such as site preparation, site survey, network cabling, electrical wiring, air-conditioning, building power supply (including power generator) tests, infrastructure & System maintenance, on-site/off-site standby activities etc
• Coordinate preventive maintenance for Data Centre downstream infrastructure which includes Uninterruptible Power Suppler (UPS) systems, Water Detection systems, Fire Suppression systems, PDU, CCTV systems, Card Access systems etc.
• Operate Electronic Visitation Management System (Update Authorizer and customer access request accurately and promptly).
• Remote Hand Support (Media Management, Visual Inspection, Reboot devices, staging room, Physical connect/disconnect of HDD, network cable connectivity test, insertion of fibre SFP).
• Handle input and output media with due care for integrity of data and utility of media for subsequent use, including off-site storage.
• Perform Event Monitoring for Data Centre Facilities infrastructure to ensure they are functioning optimally (e.g. UPS, power, temperature control, humidity, water detection sensor, etc.)
• Perform event monitoring for IT Systems and Network infrastructure.
• Perform incident escalation. Ensure incidents are responded and attended to. To redirect for 2nd or 3rd Level resolution base on criticality, impact and customer Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Manage and mitigate escalations of high impact system failures and assist in tracking the incidents till closure.

Position Summary / Project Description

The DC/FM role will be assisting in managing of the Data Centre facility like power, cooling, space and Asset inventory. He or she will need to work closely with DCFM Lead and the project team to deliver the project within the timeline.

Years of Experience

Experience working in Data Centre and Facility management operations in day to day operations and maintaining IT systems.

Role and Responsibilities

•  Perform health monitoring of the DC M&E equipment
• Attend to users’ request related to DC FM
• Assist with cabling works within the DC
• Monitor ticketing system and follow up on necessary actions
• Pre M&E maintenance works related to DC M&E equipment
• Post M&E maintenance works related to DC M&E equipment
• Attend to user enquiry about Co-Location via Service request
• Monitor power utilization for equipment in DC
• Monitor of rack space utilization in DC
• Work with vendor to identify Operational Technology (OT) devices
• Prepare risk register for vulnerabilities devices, inclusive of vulnerabilities assessment scanning
• Ensure all DC asset movement activities are updated
• Assist DC manager and Team lead in reporting generating.

• Required to be on 24 x 7 standby.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office.
• Comfortable with 12 hours rotating shift:-8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am as per assigned by Site Lead.
• Work 4 days off 3 days

• Provide first-level technical support for our products, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Monitor and maintain the operational status of the datacenter infrastructure.
• Respond to alerts and incidents in a timely manner, following established procedures and escalation paths.
• Perform routine datacenter operations tasks, such as equipment checks, environmental monitoring, and inventory management.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure service continuity.
• Document and report incidents, activities, and maintenance tasks according to standard procedures.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and datacenter operations.

• Prior experience in a technical support role, preferably in a product support or datacenter operations capacity.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, and storage systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a 24x5 shift environment, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and ITIL best practices is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in IT support and datacenter operations are advantageous.
