Responsibilities:

The lead engineer will be assigned to lead initiative related to one or a few of the following domains:

Perceptions

· Improve usability, reliability and scalability for mapping and localization system.

· Improve object detection, tracking & classification system.

· Improve Sensor fusion algorithm for reliable, precise localization, object tracking.

Control and Planning

· Embedded System – low level interfacing with sensors, actuators.

· Robot control system, low-level motion planning algorithm.

· Behaviour planning – path planning & mission control.

Others

· To lead robotics team and collaborate with cross-functional team to deliver quality work on schedule.

Requirements:

Criteria:

We are looking for an Application Engineer who enjoys interacting with customers and likes to work in an autonomous environment. In this position, you will manage and develop long standing client relationships, with an intense focus on exceeding client expectations and driving service delivery. You will have a hands-on approach to service and deliver value through developing and managing technical projects to solve customer problems.

• Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute agreed upon customer system assurance and continuous improvement plans.
• Assist Sales Representatives with plant surveys of prospective customers.
• Assist Sales Representatives with start-ups of new applications in both existing customers and in new accounts.
• Develop strong relationships with the key stakeholders in the strategic district accounts where you provide service support to other District Sales Representatives.
• Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer pain points, escalating as required.
• Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
• Support services include: Water Chemistry checks, light maintenance, customer service, service report generation, chemical ordering, chemical inventory management and top-up.
• Follow Ecolab safety guidelines and incident reporting requirements.

Requirements:

• Technical Degree or equivalent education with industry experience is preferred.

To take and carry out site supervision in accordance to the Project specification and BCA ACT & Regulation, and to the requirement of the contracts with the client.

To supervise in accordance to the Contract Specification and relevant Authorities. To assist the Superintending Officer, SO Rep and/or SRE/RE in all aspects relating to the construction of the projects.

Work closely with RE / SRE on day-to-day site operations.

Must be literate in English and have a good knowledge to use computer, computer software and MS Office.

Registered with JAC as a Resident Technical Officer.

RTO Certificate accreditation by IES/ACES.
