In this pivotal role, you will support students in developing their creative expression, technical skills, and innovative practices within our industry-focused, practice-led curriculum. This includes hands-on studio work, industry projects, and enriching workshops, all within a holistic and integrative learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role involves managing the daily operations and maintenance of workshop machinery, including CNC machines, table saws, and radial arm saws, ensuring all equipment remains in optimal working condition. You will play a key role in supervising students on their projects, providing technical guidance and support in the construction and prototyping of their designs using the workshop's tools and equipment.

In addition, you will be responsible for conducting induction sessions to educate users on the proper use of machines and facilities while ensuring strict adherence to workshop rules and safety regulations. Your support will extend to guiding students as they experiment and produce both scaled and full-sized prototypes, fostering their technical skills in a safe and productive environment.

This role also involves maintaining workshop safety, cleanliness, and readiness is a critical aspect of this role. You will also collaborate with lecturers to prepare materials for classes and conduct demonstrations to support student learning. Beyond these responsibilities, you will assist in planning and organizing various activities, such as industry collaborations, exhibitions, talks, and events like Open House.

Requirements

You should minimally possess a Diploma qualification in a related discipline and/or industry experience. Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply as well.

To excel in this role, you should also have a strong technical background, including proficiency in fabrication and working in the workshop.

• The Data Center Technician will support essential data center operations, performing tasks to ensure equipment reliability and quick resolution of incidents.
• Handle tasks such as cabling, verifying port numbers, observing equipment indicators, and server reboots.
• Conduct media management, visual inspections, device reboots, and physical setup tasks (HDD connections, network cables, fibre SFP insertion, circuit migrations, and fibre cleanup).
• Escalate incidents according to priority and SLA requirements; manage high-impact system failures and track issues through to resolution.
• Use tools such as virtual fault locators, optical fiber identifiers, power meters, and OTDRs for diagnostics and repairs.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in data center operations and technical troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage incidents effectively and coordinate escalations as needed.

Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to perform field technical work in delivering installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair work for the business.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist to perform the preventive maintenance and corrective work for building services, assets/installations at the client’s premises according to local statutory regulation, HSE, and client’s site-specific requirement, etc.

· Assist to ensure the completion of work orders within the standard KPI/SLAs and the client’s needs are met.

· Support a plant/building shutdown or critical event for the purpose of any preventive maintenance/repairs relating to the assigned asset or equipment and other related operating functions, such as housekeeping, security cameras and access controls, etc.

· Assist to perform regular inspections and inventory of tools, vehicles, and equipment used on the agreed cycle.

· Assist to close the service requests from customers within the servicelevel agreement

· Assist Prepare and submitting a timely incident report

· Assist in follow-up scheduling of equipment daily/weekly maintenance work or a job request.

· Make recommendations to the management on ways to improve the facilities.

Required Knowledge and Skills

Technical Knowledge & Experience:

· Minimum Three year experience in building facilities or related environment

· Welcome fresh Nitec/Diploma holder

· Knowledge in Mechanical/Ventilation and Air Conditioning (MVAC) System, Building M&E services functions are an added advantage
