Job Description

As the Senior Software Engineering Manager for Private Equity & Real Estate Technology, you will lead a dynamic team of full-stack engineers in designing, building, deploying, testing, and supporting applications and related services hosted on AWS. Collaborating with business stakeholders, you will drive business value while ensuring the delivery of high-quality code. About the team

The team is responsible for developing all of TTS South East Asia businesses - which will involve exciting projects covering user growth, homepage, discovery channel. You'll be tasked with creating a Global e-Commerce Shopping Platform, collaborating closely with engineers around the globe.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop efficient, highly scalable, and secured services to build/integrate e-Commerce solutions for TikTok Shop.

2. Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other disciplines to explore the next generation of shopping experiences on TikTok.

3. Be responsible for building an intuitive and reliable shopping experience, including browsing product details, check-out, shopping, return, refund etc.

4. Be responsible for TikTok's Shop Tab, building platforms and tools for merchants, clients, and businesses to manage campaigns, deliver the best results, and receive actionable insights.

5. Research, analyse and evaluate requirements for existing or new web and mobile applications.

6. Design, develop, test and maintain web and mobile solutions to meet the requirements.

7. Evaluate programming codes to ensure that they are properly structured, meet industry standards and are compatible with browsers and devices.

8. Develop website infrastructure and integrate websites with other computer applications.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & System Analysis, Science (Computer Studies) or related discipline.

2. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a native Android development environment using Java or Kotlin.

3. Familiar with mainstream frameworks like Android architecture Components, Retrofit etc.

4.. Experience with performance and reliability on mobile platforms, e-commerce experience is a plus.

5. Strong data analysis skills, able to identify product opportunities from technical metrics analysis.

6. Good understanding of business, technical abstraction and system module design.

7. Experience in e-Commerce is a plus.

We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record of successfully working with large SI partners and creating technical champions among the SI’s. Candidate with knowledge on broader Platform ecosystem , products, competition to influence and be the partner’s trusted advisor.

This role requires travel up to 50% to countries in Asia Pacific and Japan region throughout the quarter to support partner enablement, attend events, and to collaborate with SI Partners.

AS A GSI - PARTNER SALES ENGINEER, YOU WILL:

• Run training sessions, workshops, webinars to help SIs become proficient in Snowflake
• Help Solution Providers/Practice Leads with the technical strategies that enables them to sell their offerings on Snowflake
• Keeping SI’s up to date on key Snowflake product updates and future roadmaps to help them represent Snowflake to their clients about latest technology solutions and benefits
• Run technical enablement programs to provide best practices, and solution design workshops to help GSIs create effective solutions.
• Forward Strategic thinking - quickly grasp the essence of new concepts and business value messaging. Sharing customer success stories & case studies to showcase the impact of Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of how SI make revenue through the Industry priorities & complexities they face and influence where Snowflake products can have the most impact for their product services
• Conversations with other technologists, providing presentations at the C-level.

OUR IDEAL GSI - PARTNER SALES ENGINEER WILL HAVE:

• Providing technical product and deep architectural expertise & latest product capabilities with our Partner Solution Architect community based in Chin
• Staying current with the latest Snowflake product updates and best practices
• Hands on experience in designing and building highly scalable data pipelines using Spark, Kafka to ingest data from various systems.
• Experience with integration platforms like Matillion, FiveTran, Informatica, dbtCloud etc are plus
• Experience with database technologies
• Hands-on technical experience with DevOps and CI/CD processes and tools, such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and Google Cloud Build
• Strong experience with major cloud platforms and tooling, especially Azure or AWS, or Google Cloud
• Experience using Big Data or Cloud integration technologies such as Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, etc.
• Experience with AI/ML use cases is a plus
