Job Description

The Data Center Facilities Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of our data centre infrastructure. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the facility's operation, including power, cooling, fire protection, security, and environmental controls. Other responsibilities include managing data center floor space and security. You will also lead a team of outsourced technicians and contractors, to manage projects, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key objectives are to:

•Maximize uptime: Ensure the data centre infrastructure meets the required availability levels and minimizes downtime, preventing outages, service and data loss.

•Maintain system redundancy: Implement and manage redundant systems for critical infrastructure to ensure smooth operation even during maintenance or unexpected events. Ensure maintenance regime is adhered to and any arising gaps remediated in a timely manner.

•Control operational expenses: Manage budgets effectively and find cost-saving opportunities for maintenance, upgrades, and external services

•Plan and strategize data center requirements to meet SIA current and future IT roadmap.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage:

•A team of outsourced data centre technicians and contractors, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

•Projects related to the maintenance, upgrade, and expansion / optimization of the data centre infrastructure.

•Hosting sites are run as per SLA and within limits of key data centre operating parameters for power cooling and environmental settings

•Emergency response plans for diverse scenarios like power outages, fires, or natural disaster

Ensure optimal performance:

•Of critical infrastructure systems, including power distribution, cooling systems, fire suppression systems, and security systems.

•Of the data centre environment, maintaining optimal temperature, humidity, and air quality.

Plan and execute:

•Preventive maintenance schedules and corrective actions for identified issues.

Collaborate:

Data Cente strategy and migration:

•Responsible for providing Data centre design and construction inputs, sustainability initiatives, and energy efficiency optimization

•Responsible for writing Datacenter related tenders such as maintenance contract, co-location sourcing etc. and writing management approval papers.

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering with minimum 5 years relevant industry experience or Diploma in electrical engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in datacentre infrastructure and facility management

•Familiar with fire safety rules and regulations associated with operating complex datacenter infrastructure

•Proficient in data centre monitoring and management software

•Familiar with data center fiber and structure cabling would be a added advantage

•Possess Datacenter certification eg. CDCP, CDFOM

•Familiar with TIA-942-B design standards for Datacenter, Uptime Standards and ASHRAE requirements

Your assignments will vary from conceptual or basic design of new laboratories or manufacturing facilities to consultancy and advice on maintenance management and improvement of maintenance planning as well as technical audits. All work undertaken needs to be in accordance with the agreed budget, timescale, quality and performance criteria within the required procedures (health and safety, GMP, local and corporate standards). The CQV Engineer will develop CQV planning documents to manage CQV projects and generate and execute CQV protocols using Good Documentation Practices (GDPs). Responsibilities

Main duties and responsibilities of the successful candidates are to assist the System Manager/ Functional Leads on the maintenance & support of PPM application. This includes:

• Defect Management. Responsibilities include tracking of system defects reported by users; perform analysis and troubleshooting service to verify and confirm the cause of the problem; provide interim or workaround solutions when necessary to minimize disruption to operations; ensure prompt resolution to the defects reported and facilitate users in Problem Report (PR) testing.
• Service Request (SR) Management. Responsibilities include tracking and monitoring of SRs raised; assessment and implementation of SRs according to operating procedures, e.g. data patching requested by users.
• Change Request (CR) Management. Responsibilities include tracking and monitoring of CRs raised, conduct of impact assessment, design & implement solution and facilitate users in CR testing and conduct training when necessary.
• Operations Support. Responsibilities include monitoring and execution of scheduled events such as monthly jobs, financial year end activities, interface testing, support of audit-related activities, responding to calls/ emails from users about issues/ queries with regard to PPM application and provide on-site support when necessary; support scheduled events such as system down-time; investigate and resolve functional and/or performance related and/or integration issues.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress report on summary of the incidents raised and resolved, SR and CR status updates to the System Manager/ Functional Leads.
• Ensure the smooth operation of PPM, including integration withother bolt-on applications, and interfaces with internal/ external interfaces so that the support is not disrupted during normal office working hours.
• Review and update the relevant documentation (inclusive of ARIS diagrams/ models) to reflect changes made to the system. Examples of documentation including the following:
  Functional Design (FD) specification
  Technical Design (TD) specification

Skills & Requirements

• The candidate(s) should possess a Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of ASP .NET development experience in a project management and technical architect role, with at least 3 full cycle ASP .NET implementation of comparable scale and complexity in a large organization.
• Project development experience in C# and Microsoft ASP .NET Framework 3.5/ 4.0 and ASP .NET MVC.
• Knowledge of web technology and development experience in ASP .NET, HTML, CSS, javascript, AJAX and jQuery.
• Experience in database design and development in MSSQL and Oracle.
• Experience in coding using Visual Studio and integration with other .NET and SAP applications.
• Knowledge in secure programming standards and ASP .NET programming best practices.
• Knowledge of system testing methodology and analysis with experience in using testing tool.
• Ability to design, develop and articulate solutions based on strategic business or technical requirements.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, manage timelines and user expectation, and produce high quality deliverables (documentation, presentations and research).
• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing and managing the delivery of enterprise solutions to support business transformation objectives.
• Possess excellent communication and soft skills.

Job Summary:

Support the Microbiology Laboratory in SGBO Singapore QC for the establishing and maintaining
of Utilities Monitoring of the SGBO Singapore Facility in Singapore. Perform sampling and testing
under supervision, following written procedures and specifications, and in accordance with
Local/international regulations.

Key Accountabilities:

• Supports activities to establish and maintain a Microbiology lab in full cGMP-compliance.
• Supports activities to conduct/perform necessary sampling/test methods or compendia
  methods in the lab and site under cGMP
• Follows existing procedures and methods, and perform sampling/testing following routine activities :

 - HVAC Viable and Non -viable particle sampling and surface sampling

 - Pharmaceutical Water and Clean Steam Condensate sampling for Biological and

 - Chemical tests

 - Compressed Gases; Biological Chemical and Physical sampling and testing

 - Data compilation

 - Data evaluation and trending support

• Receives training and analyst qualification to perform sampling/testing under cGMPs.
• Follows the priorities for sampling/testing provided by lab management.
• Ensures sampling/testing is performed in a timely manner.
• Participates in Laboratory investigations.
• (after sample testing) Compiles test documents in a complete, accurate and consistent manner to ensure that samples, materials or products and intermediates have been tested, or inspected according to specification and cGMPs.
• Suggests optimizations of test procedures to improve efficiency whenever possible.
• Be able to explain, his/her area of work, in health authorities inspections and internal audits

•Good technical knowledge coupled with hands-on working experience in pharmaceutical/ vaccines plant engineering services.

• Working experience in start-ups, commissioning & qualification of process systems in an operating plant, including Process HAZOP, HAZID, FMEA and product tech transfer.

• Individual lead contribution in a medium to large scale project execution track record.

• Good knowledge in pharmaceutical regulatory market requirements and experience in participation of Audits. Eg;- FDA, EMA & etc.,

• Knowledge in Singapore local statutory regulatory requirements, code of practices related to process industry projects.

• Good knowledge in project procurement to handle vendor & subcontract management, RFQ, tender review, technical and commercial bid analysis report for the projects proposed.

• Knowledge in project finance for budgeting, cost management & control, ROI, report preparation for medium to large-scale capital projects.
