Reporting to Manager, Information Technology, this role will be responsible for IT business applications and related systems of Mitsui Chemicals Group of Singapore companies, as well as respective regional affiliates in Asia Pacific. This position will support IT division's plans to leverage on IT applications, automations and other business systems to improve all areas of business operations internally and with our business partners.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute IT applications roadmap
• Manage projects for implementation of IT application system
• Analyze and develop application systems to support business operations
• Provide first level system support and helpdesk service for application users
• Administer and ensure IT Business Application Systems are functioning at optimal level
• Perform periodic system maintenance and propose and plan for Application upgrades

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
• At least 3 years of experience in designing, development and implementation of IT systems, such as on MS SharePoint platform, as well as administration of MS SQL Database
• At least 3 years of development and application support experience in MS SharePoint, Nintex forms and workflows
• Experienced in BI tools such as Qliksense and Power BI and familiar with SDLC methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Resourceful and ability to work independently
• Possess good communication skills
• Able to work overtime if required

Key Responsibilities

1. Understand, research, and resolve internal and external application and systems issues.
2. Create, test, and verify installation/upgrade instructions for Applied Materials’ product releases.
3. Participate in product testing, documentation reviews, and user conferences.
4. Provide off-hours customer support via pager and cellular telephone as scheduled. Provide telephone coverage as scheduled.
5. Attend Applied Materials’ classes in designated product line and external classes for third-party software.
6. Provide on-going training to customers for technical and systems issues.
7. Deliver updates and reports to managers, partners and peers

• Provide technical assistance to internal teams, including troubleshooting technical problems, resolving issues, and offering guidance on technical matters.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience with the Suite/ SugarCRM platform.
• Strong experience in Apache, MySQL, PHP, HTML/HTML5, CSS, jQuery, javascript
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing and customizing web sites and web applications using Wordpress
• Experience with PHP SOAP web service and API integration with external applications
• Experience in Linux OS, unix command and shell scripts
• Experience in using AzureDevOps and/or git repository and git commands
• Good communication skills and ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
